I don't know the full story but I'm pretty sure the writer/coder has a liver problem (Hapititis C) and they are having difficulties buying the medications. But they are currently still working on the game. They take donations on their discord.
Ive been trying to find this game again for over a year and a half (i think) and jesus it seems the development has not slowed, i cannot wait to see the finished product, i love everything about it so far!
