Really nice game! The mechanics are reminiscent of 'Baba is you', which is why I like it so much!

Yeah the game is really good... Tho the puzzles are a bit hard... My game was maths game... But your game is also not that easy...

After the 2nd level the my brain exploded... Lel

Well it would have been really good to add a pause menu where you can like restart, go to main menu, or quit... Except all that the art style, the movement and platforming, and the puzzles are really Good !!!!

Noice !!

Fun game! I managed to glitch out of the level once or twice (honestly not sure how) and found that you could block the doors open by flicking the lever and blocking the door with yourself, and it would keep both doors open. Apart from those two glitches, I had a lot of fun with this! The fourth level seemed impossible to me though.

The second “glitch” is intentional. Later parts of the game rely on that. However, the speed of some doors is meant to discourage that, but it is still a method to an end.

The fourth level relies a lot on the player’s desire to explore the mechanics and think outside the box, so I can see how that one may be a problem. It’s not something I directly explain, which can pose a problem.

As for glitching out of the level, I never experienced that bug while playtesting. I’m not sure how you did that either. Sorry for causing that. It’s a good thing I put those death barriers just in case, then.

Thank you for your feedback!

Yep, just tested it again in case I broke anything. Level four is definitely still beatable.

I’ll work on easing the player into the mechanics more seamlessly in future games.

just adorable! i love the little character so much

i was able to get 9/10 secrets :3 the fourth one just seems impossible without being able to combine "every" and "thing", if it is possible and not bugged, then it's way too hard compared to the others!!

but i still had lots of fun finding each one :3 thank you for the amazing experience!

Thank you for the reply!

I think I’ll make a video on how to get all the secrets soon. But, for now, may I ask how you were trying to get that 4th secret? I didn’t really have many play testings, so any feedback would be available for my future games.

Here. I made a small video on how to get all the secrets.

Again, thank you for your reply! …and sorry about the keyboard noises…

oh, i didn't think about using the velocity of the platform. i didn't know that was a mechanic until level 8, i think, where it's obvious that you have to use it 😓

i dont know if i can explain very well, but i was trying to do it the same way i got level 2's secret. if you separate "nothing" when the word is the highest it can be in that level, you will get "thing" and "no" on top of each other, where "thing" is giving you enough height to reach the orb. i was trying to do the same thing in level 4, but now i just feel silly knowing that wasn't intended.

sidenote: another thing is that i thought level 2's tutorial was teaching you to separate words instead of right clicking "no" so i didn't know it could turn into "yes" until it was required, my friend had to help me with that ehehe...

I see. All valuable feedback.

The velocity platform jumps were meant to be introduced later on, but were also incorporated later in level 2. You see, although I planned for it, the Orbs were kind of a second-playthrough type of thing. Going in blind, a player shouldn’t know there are Orbs unless they are very good explorers (or just wanted to try to break my game in the first level), so I made the orbs with the idea of a second playthrough in mind. Still, I also tried to design them such that, if the player plays around a bit, things can click.

Level 2, for instance, I imagined there would be someone who tries to mess with the platform while on it, and then thinks to jump. If they do, boom! Secret! Instantly rewarded.

Also, that sidenote is interesting. I also had more mouse click icons next to the “No” when it becomes relevant again in level 8, but that would be a problem. Thanks for the feedback.

That was a really interesting game! The mechanics are so novel and fun and I really like the art. The sprite work is super cute :)
