I rarely play dating simulators kind of games tbh because most of them only have sex scenes, no good plot or story - Fates Collide on the other hand is amazing, it reminds me a bit of Eternum through how the plot is well designed, with similar humor and realistic relationship with the girls. I also saw Chang and Micaela in it, it was quite funny seeing them in this game too ;)

Been following this game for a long time. The mellow feel of it from the start to gradually ramping up in the story, I was hooked. This game makes you play the long game in getting what you want out of it, and I like that. It makes you focus on everything else above the nudes and such.
Jokes aside it is now true, after slightly upgrading the designs of some girls throughout the time (Eiko best example and fixing her broken hair and unnatural gray skin) and after expanding some girls lore, now all are my favs (*￣3￣)╭
Meaning you can only end up in a proper, romantic relationship with one character at the end of the game, so after a certain amount of time (long time, we aren't close to it yet) you'll be locked into one girl route.

You are given free reign of your choices, and the longer the game progresses, the more it will come into play with whom and how you engaged. Basically you start with all 7 main girls routes open, and as you progress, you can slowly start losing routes either by missing certain story aspects due to your choices, or just due to lacking relationship points.
In Ep3 there is no real punishment yet if you aren't "perfect" and you pursue multiple girls, but the longer the updates go, the more you could lose due to pursuing everyone. Naturally in the end you'll end up only on one girl/route.
I have been pleasantly surprised so far with "Fates Collide" after dropping in with zero expectations. The amount you've put towards character development and giving each one a deeper backstory and sense of self, is rather refreshing for an AVN when compared to other 'quick thrill' titles. I will look forward to how things develop in the future (I haven't finished the current version yet).

Took me a good long time of looking at it to play this game, but I must say, youre doing phenomenal work! Anyone who complains about the slow pace should just go watch porn. For my part, I felt like the characters were pretty well fleshed out and true to the characters they represent. Story is slow going, but in context, that's a good thing, as youre just introducing all the key players. Characters are gorgeous and well done and not having them as place marker 'holes' to fill was a great choice. Keep up the good work. Will check back in a few months for sure. I'll 100% support this game monetarily when you've managed to push out some more great content! (Learned to wait to see if the creators' are in it for the long haul before investing spare funds)

First of all, of course it's and adult +18 game. You do realize that even if there was no sex, just some titties on screen and nothing else, for the whole game, that HAS to be tagged as +18. You do realize that? Unless I want to get banned for people under that age playing it.
Now with that false claim out of the way... This game is intentionally slow. It's even pointed out on start of it. If you wish for a quick meet and fuck, this isn't the VN for you. And if you take a smaaaall peak above, you can see the tags. Dating sim, romance, slice of life, meaningful choices. I think all of that is absolutely correct, isn't it?
Also, an adult game doesn't have to have a sex scene in first episode, hell, some have actual sex way, way later into the game. So far, there is one boobjob scene ingame, and some more scenes will be coming in Ep4. And if you only care about Sex scenes, well... Plenty of such games out there that start as soon as you load the game ^^
Its is an AVN = adult visual NOVEL. There is an emphasis on story and characters personalities instead of mindless sex . Go to pornhub if you really want to just to get off and not be interested in the development of the story.
And yes I do understand that scenes are very few and no sex still but that is how it is in real life. You move to a new city make new friends and acquaintances , get to know them and form a relationship and then have those 18+ moments.
Unless you moved to a new city and you are looking for anybody to fuck and you really really want to get your d wet then should just call prostitutes or go to stripclub etc. Or if you are good looking then just find a slut and she might even suck u off. Lol .

Im curious but how many episodes have you planned for this visual novel? I played for free but I enjoyed it so much that I can't wait for the rest to come out and I can buy it then. It truly has been wonderful character wise and story wise. And with all the girls you can choose from, it really enhances the replayability thanks to the usual harem option games like to throw out. It's more realistic and makes the characters more enjoyable (and harder to choose like between Serena and Avis or Koko and raika).
Is there or will there be consequences regarding having intimate moments with multiple girls before a route is locked in place? Like say you play cards right, get Avis to kiss you and have that moment with Serena, will said actions be brought up later when pursuing one of them? Since you mentions you can try to do it but will prevent you from seeing certain scenes, curious if there's consequences in the game about it.
I can't say about episodes, but definitely didn't plan to end quickly, especially with how slow the relationships develop. For the latter part, on one hand I don't want to spoil anything that I have ideas about that, but also I'll openly say as it's my first game and story writing and all, I am unsure how good and well developed that part I can do. In my ideal vision yes, in laterstages of the game there should be references and consequences depending if you pursued or did something intimate with another girl. But also the Girls don't suddenly have Xray vision and professor Xavier mind capabilities😁 So unless you as a player share something, or girls share for certain reasons something with each other, or they see you with someone, then they won't know what you did and with who. Also, mc isn't in any relationships yet, and naturally there won't be some punishment so early on if you did something with someone while everyone is free and available.
Hopefully that answers the questions and explains my thought process at least a little bit ^^

In far too many games where you do all that with multiple people despite no relationship, other characters always has issues with it, especially if it's with someone don't like. Or even if you don't get caught the system makes them already or comes back to haunt them. Glad to see some realism in the relationships and such. Love the quality of love interests, makes it hard to choose which goes first. 😂

Apologies, but no, the direction of the game is meant in the first part of the comment. While naturally lots of choices don't have big impact, many of them still do and as game progresses there will be more branching out. And for the ending, there is definitely not planned one with all the girls, which would also make it impossible to make it "turn off" as many events are tied to specific choices/routes.
This is an extremely charming, incredibly funny game with characters that feel like actual people. I'd highly recommend anyone looking through the comments give this game a chance - I promise you won't regret it.

This is an extremely charming, incredibly funny game with characters that feel like actual people. I'd highly recommend anyone looking through the comments give this game a chance - I promise you won't regret it.

It is not a lie. I simply made an account that day, and commented to every single itch.io creator I appreciate. If it were I lie, I simply would not tell them to keep making the visual novel for me, and the rest of us. If no one said "we like this", or "this is good".. They would drop it entirely. The one's I have commented to are my favorite creators, and stories. I want to give them thanks.
