Well it look like it can't be help, if this is true, they have to make sure everything is in working order and that there are no other bugs in this update and i hope everything will work out soon all we have to do is be patient.
Try turning off your antivirus and then reinstalling the game. This may help because sometimes the game is identified as a virus (idk why even though it isn't a virus).
Hey you guys give the dev a break alright, there trying there best to give us the best update in the Christmas part 2 however they run into some problems that they not predict and their trying to fix it to give us the best experience in this new update.

From what little I've played, the game itself is fine, good even! However, through no fault of the dev team, I am fucking broke and have to play this game on a really shitty laptop from 2012 and as such the game just wouldn't work unless I had lowered all the graphics to very low. Even then it was at best running at around 10FPS for night 1; Arcade mode on the other hand, just wouldn't load in, it would stop loading at just under a 1/4 the way through and the game would crash. I'm looking forward to getting a better PC so I can play this game at its best.
Ur not alone cause this laptop (Dell) can barely run on medium so I can play but with Christmas decorations on I kind of have to put it on very low but it's a trooper but gets very hot to the point I can cook on it.
