Yeah you can consider it a cheat to be able to dodge after you hit the ground but when Mushna does the sprint and it gets you trapped in a corner it's just really annoying😅( perhaps I'm hinting at a nerf or fix for Mushna's sprint attack trapping the player?🤔)
Also if I were to actually give a good suggestion I will think of how hard it would be to introduce it to the game and how it would affect it.

Ok what the actual fuck is this combat difficulity ? It is terrible I am not here to play dark souls mobile controls are alreadly hard enough and every single boss having a 2nd phase is really annoying. Lower the difficulity or give us an option to do so because in current, it is horribibly hard.
I beat every boss on first try without soups exept mushroom. Died few times and had to use throwables. Only thing id say is actually hard would be controlls on android. Joistick is better then nothing but ots easy to click 2 - 3 buttons together and u are messed up
Mushna? The girl that you meet when you want to take umbrellashroom? You can simply roll under her the she running at you by pressing J, I was trying to jump over her but that is harder to do. Buy some mushroom soups, they will heal you. You can use a bow too, it would be much easier with it. You can find it here

This game is super fun and i love the scenes in it, I've unlocked every scene in the gallery but the bestiary says I'm only 40% complete, I've run into every room on the map and every room I could find not on the map. I followed your advice way back and it really is easy to defeat pretty much any boss like that. Finished the game in 17 minutes
