Absolutely loved this game! Super fun, funny, and very interesting! I really can't wait to see a larger game with Detective McWrist!

That being said, I came across the same issues as others did where processing is just going crazy at the beggining, and making recording software like obs go super laggy. Luckily, it calmed down as soon as it got into actually playing. The slow time was super good, and the action was perfect! The only thing I had an issue with that I noticed was the double jump felt pretty picky choosy on when it was going to actually double jump.

Thanks for the video and the feedback. This is an old prototype (from last September) that i decided to release to come back to the project. There is indeed plenty of bugs. One of them is that suppose to not have double jump at all (xD), and some weird camera issues. But the core is there, the character is there, so this is a big experiment about the character and some of the root mechanics. Of course, performance is always a issue =/

So the games is beign soft rebooted, this prototype is no longer playable on the project anymore, but was very important to me to get reactions and honest opinions about the experience.

This is how the game is going atm


Hopefully ill sort my life out and find a good publisher. For this, every video and reaction i get is very helpful

The screenshot looks great! and I completely understand. Life is rough sometimes. But its such an amazing idea to have a disembodied hand going around being the good guy and being so small compared to the world is kinda fun! I hope things go well and your able to finish it!

okay so no video it is very very buggy but hey it is a prototype so here is what i liked and disliked

First off if i died with a check point all the enemies would still be there and bullet time wasnt enough to save me with that being said i would respawn only to try my best to slow down time shoot three enemys bullet time runs out the fourth gets me, i also had a issue with respawning at the check point that was the one before that, and enemies would sometimes be invisible cept for the hands and guns.

with that being said please if you fix those few issues with a code check what enemy has been killed and checkpoint has been reached would help.

else spawn enemy

also to fix the respawning problem

if checkpoint reached "respawn at lastest checkpoint"

like i said im not dev myself i know the basics but something like that to check would really help now the model being invisible is idk


NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF

I LOVE THE STORY or atleast as far as i got, i really liked that story alot a old hand being a cop the modeling was really good and so was the gameplay for the most part but i think the think i loved the most about it was it reminded me of when i was young playing nerf wars this game HAS ALOT OF POTENTIAL I SEE A GREAT GAME COMING OUT OF IT!!!!

Sorry for a late reply. 

The prototype indeed have issues, the checkpoint respawn one is a particulary random one that is hard to find a pattern to reproduce.

It is a old prototype and I really appreciate you enjoyed what this is, is a small interaction with a new character very based on old school buddy cop comedy, I want people to smile and have a good time with this. This game will be made in a full game and probably this prototype will be scrapped and the good stuff will stay based on the feedbacks im collecting, so thank you to take time and write this, this is very helpful =)
