The simple thing is you need to go to the WINRAR, by right-clicking the .zip and click on "Open with WINRAR" . Select the Gacha Redux folder then click on Gacha Redux.exe.
As I, had encountered this problem, had now fixed it with this method.
Things you must know:
It is not a virus, how can an innocent website hack you? It's just an itch.io!
It might work like, you! A computer player!

and just press download, as a precaution I recommend downloading the two links right away then you try one by one, one of them will take your cell phone
(if it appears that your device is not compatible unfortunately there is not much you can do)

Here's some help for mobile people who couldn't get the new update. If you have mod installed already, uninstall it and re-download the mods new version. Hope this helps! 😀

That's not it, that's for pc-
If you dont see the update on mobile, try the other! It works for me. Or you can Uninstaller and reinstall.
