Just finished the latest update, but first of all big Fck you man! that’s one quite hard decision you made me do in the end. I know I can save progress but that last scene brought back a depressing memory and I know you’re referencing to that specific game, I wont say what game it is cuz others might guess it and get spoiled lol.
Anyway, the comedy gets even funnier and funnier and the story gets even more interesting. I love how the side characters still appears in the game and has funny moments, their encounters with the MC always makes me laugh. and about Tom and Fat jack, dude I swear I would be very mad if you decide that the effect of the amnesia spray will wear off. I hope they’ll stay like that. also name the girl that always following FJ, I think it would be interesting if you added atleast a short extra about what will happen between them in the end.
and about some bugs and stuff. I don’t remember encountering those, Just some typos here and there. And also, did you forgot to add a gallery tab on the main menu? cuz the only way you can access the gallery is through the actual gameplay. I dunno if you’re planning to add that at the final update of the game or just forgot about it lol.
so yah. thats all. I love the game, the humor, the characters, the story. I love it all, can’t wait for the next update and for your future games. Keep up the fantastic work, man!
As someone who played almost every version of this game, I can tell you that the gallery used to be in the main menu, but it caused problems. Not only the scene replay crashed, because the MC's name was not set, but also there was no way for the game to know which scenes have already been viewed during gameplay and therefore should be unlocked. I believe Caribdis restricted it to in-game menu for this reason.

I tried downloading it, but it says it needs to extract all my files, and I don’t really want to do that, because I have lots of important files and documents. I tried to run it without extracting it but it says that it could not execute. My main question is: Is there some other way to play 0.9 other than downloading it onto my files?
No sorry, it needs to be extracted in order to play it! But if you extract it in a folder and you delete it afterwards, it shouldn't interfere with your other files
Right click on the file you downloaded and select "Extract here" A folder will be created, then you'll be able to run the application (Onceinalifetime.exe) 👍
I love the game. I found another game here that made me laugh. I love the humor in this game all characters are likeable. I wish the MC isn’t treated as a loser tho, Almost all game like this here on itch, people always treat the MC as a loser. I wish you made him a guy that everyone fears because of his devilish looks, Like in the intro, I was assuming that people will judge him by his appearance. the loser MC thing is very cliche imo. also I assume this is some kind of a mistake on animation, remember the scene with iris in the changing room where you can increase the movement? the final faster option’s motion is toooooo fast, it almost looks like their animation is increased 10 times lol.
Anyway. I havent finished the game yet, I love the game so far. Hope it wraps up nicely :D

Hi, I started playing this game through the ren'pyweb client on another website, really great work! I just downloaded it because I'd prefer playing it without ads everywhere, but I'm not sure how to upload the saves from the web version into the downloaded game. Do you know anything about how to do that? The web version just had a button in the top left corner that let you export or import saves, but that isn't there on the downloaded version.
Saves should be pasted in the "/game/saves" folder, but as itchNsfw said, it's possible that they are not compatible because the website did some changes to the code. So if that doesn't work, I guess your best option would be skipping dialogue (making the same decisions you made) until you get where you were!
Oh, I see. The websites that upload the game (like Gamcore) are unoffical, so I can't upload the new update there, and I don't know when they'll do it, sorry. Try asking for the update there!

I think the game is great. Normally I'm not a fan of having a relatively realistic plot mixed with supernatural scenarios, but here is a pleasant mix of humour (Judie had me with Hippolas Cage, still laugh when I think about it). What I also like are the male NPCs who act as support to the MC and add another absurdly funny touch to the humour (I was sure I would regret letting Mike go the first time and oh boy was I wrong). Keep your style and humour for future games. It stands out from the crowd and adds to the replay value, even if you make the same choices.
Man, v0.9 was awesome. it isn't as long as v0.8, but it had plenty of story content.

Man, Oliver's dilemma was a hysterical moment that had me chuckling to myself.

And bro, your cliffhanger's keep making me want more, every cliffhanger in the past 2-3 versions have been awesome, and have had me waiting in anticipation for the next updates.
And after the set-up and twists in v0.9, making it seem like v1.0 is going to be the final chapter, i can't wait for v1.0 to come out and see the finale to this epic of a story-based porn game.

I clicked 'ignore' but a few minutes later it popped up again, only this time, it wouldn't let me click anything. Now I have to start all over again (not that I mind). I tried playing it on my phone as well, but it wouldn't let me type the MC's name. What should I do?

FIT JACK!!! HE HAS RETURNED!! Phenomenal update as usual Caribdis. Equal parts terrifying, hilarious, and hot. From where the story's going, it feels like we're nearing the end of the line of this wonderful wonderful plot. How many more updates should we expect until this project is completed?

If you played somewhere online, I'm not sure if your imported saves will work in the downloaded version, but if they do, you have to paste them in the /game/saves folder

Set everything to be skippable that you can in the preferences and just hold ctrl and make decisions till you get to where you were (is my advice)

Have you tried the antivirus service? In my pc, Windows Defender identifies all this tipe of games as malware, so it could be possible yours too

Great game as always, i haven't played since the 0.7 release and replaying it again still makes me enjoy the game.
