Small Patch and Small Roadmap
Hello! It’s been pretty crazy for us here at Innersloth. Lots of things happening behind the scenes. We’ve got a small update here for you all.
Firstly, we want to be sure to talk about the cheating and hacking going on. It was pretty bad there for a bit, so Forte pushed out server changes really fast. They seemed to help a lot, but some cheats still work and now there are bugs too. There will be more server updates to fix all of this, but rushing anti-hacks is what caused the bugs, so cleaning things up is a slower process. Also rest assured that any threats made in the game are false and your devices and data are safe. If you see a hacker, ban them or find a different room.
Here's what this update contains:
- Added Anonymous Voting option
All votes appear as grey
- Added Task Bar Modes
Always mode works like normal
Meeting mode only updates the bar during meetings
Invisible mode removes the task bar entirely
- MIRA: Comms sabotage clears the security logs
-Added symbols to fix wires task
-Added cosmetics to meeting screen
-Various bug fixes
We have lots of things planned, but no real official roadmap. We play things pretty loose so we can tackle what we think the game needs most. We also don’t want to promise anything and then not provide it so it’s a scary thing to share. Here are some of the big things we are planning:
-Accounts. We’re hoping to get accounts into the game by December. This will allow players to report accounts that are toxic and/or hacking. They may be a bit barebones at first but things like friendslists will also come at a later date after launch.
-New Map. We’re hard at work on a new map (It’s Henry Stickmin themed!). This map is currently looking bigger than Polus! The map will contain plenty of new tasks and will be available for free to all players!
-Translations/Localization. The game is currently only translated into a few languages (and some of those translations are a bit rough). We’re planning on getting professional translations into multiple languages (More than we currently have, not ready to share quite which languages yet). To all the people offering to translate, thanks for reaching out, but we’ve got it under control!
-Colorblind support. This patch contains a first pass on colorblind support. We’ll continue monitoring it to see how it performs.
Mind you this isn’t the full extent of our plans. We’ve got lots of things we’re planning that we’re not quite ready to share yet! Thanks for sticking with us and enjoying the game! We’re going through some growing pains right now, but I am very excited for the future of Among Us!

That's actually happening to me too. I've been wanted to buy a pet bundle for a while now but every time I do, I click on the dollar icon and nothing shows up. I'm not sure if this is a glitch just on PC though, because it has been working when i've tried it on mobile. Please fix this.

I would prefer to play among us on my laptop, but it costs money on steam. Is there anyway you guys could make it free on steam?? I would play the game much more than I do and maybe even consider purchasing a pet skin. Also, you should probably consider shutting down 'amongusfree.website' as it means you do not receive the money for the pet skins that you deserve.

Just use bluestacks, you will be able to play the mobile version of the game with keyboard controls. and if the performance is slow just enable virtualization in bios since its easy unless unsupported.
That's just cracking a paid game.
You're still taking away money, he's downloading the free version where it's supposed to be paid. And bluestacks comes with clothes and pets i'm pretty sure, so that's even worse

Oh so you want them to add stricter DRM or take legal action against the crackers? They are just a 3 person team with limited funding and legal action is a money sink. Strict DRM on a simple game will end up annoying genuine players.

Actually you're the dumb one. If they're adding accounts, they're mostly obviously going to put adding friend and stuff. What's the point of doing accounts if it's just reporting? Might as well not do the accounts. That'll also just put a way to steal someone's account in among us.
Edit: In the previous devlog they still said they're doing friends/account system. Read the other ones, dumbass!
It says on this patch note: "things like friendslists will also come at a later date after launch." And if you read about making accounts, it would have been extremely hard to miss the next sentence which explained it, unless you just skimmed through it

if your playing on ipad how can you have keyboard support
there are several keyboard solutions für the ipad. original apple up to generic bluetooth. i am using the logitech slim folio

pc players need to use keyboard, mobile players need to use the joystick

i dont think so. ive been playing among us on my pc for 2 weeks and no one’s told me its cheat. so technically it isnt.
That's actually a good idea. I played on mobile for a good while before I got Among Us on steam and movement and typing was sometimes pretty tricky. Especially if I had greasy fingers after I ate pizza or some other type of greasy food. I know you can get bluetooth keyboards but Among Us doesn't have keyboard compatibility and sometimes that can be troublesome.

also if you added a filter option where you could filter certain parts of the game so that you don’t get out into games that have settings you don’t like
I think an individual filter for each setting will be too much
it would nice to have a matchmaking button that automatically puts you into a game instead of having to constantly go back and forth when games are all full. Sometimes it takes almost ten times to find a game that isn’t full.

my child has reported that he has seen older people making advances on younger children sexually while playing “among us”. one girls said she was 13 and someone started asking for her address. Another person said they were a kid and then began taking with someone sexually.
This is unacceptable and will be reported if this is not dealt with immediately.

I have been in many lobbys where people are getting together so...
There is a simple fix/solution to this type of problem. 1. Monitor your children when playing. 2. Tell your child not to tell her age to people. Any game online there is gonna be people that do stuff like that and all that you can really do is ignore them, because you can never get rid of people like that because anyone can always change your ip, vpn and etc. If you daughter is experiencing that in a game it's best to leave that game lobby and go to another and just to avoid people like that.

I do not think they can fix this entirely, there is an option to censor curse words but most other things are not censored, maybe they could be like Roblox and censor numbers.

they are making accounts so you can report unacceptable behavior like that. If you are very worried about it I suggest finding another game for your child to play until the account system is up.

Yeah, the game is free on the apple app store so they need to make money from somewhere.
The paid cosmetics are in the game to support the creators. Making them free would defeat the purpose of them.
