Alchemy For Dummies
Replaces all alchemy recipes with 1 Basic Solution (Very overpowered, cheaty)

Beastkin Mouse & Rat
Adds the named races (See NOTE below)

Beauty Adjustment
Alters the required beauty for each 'rating' and adjusts descriptions. Purely cosmetic

Body Descriptions (Large)
Replaces descriptive text for breast sizes focusing on larger sizes (maximum GG cup, with many interim cup sizes skipped due to limitations in base system)

Body Descriptions (Small)
Replaces descriptive text for breast sizes emphasizing smaller sizes (maximum C cup)

Combat Preview Fix (CURRENTLY BROKEN)
This mod is supposed to fix some of the displayed text before combat allowing you to gauge your enemies' strength more accurately, but is currently broken and not working as intended. Do not download unless you intend to fix it yourself.

Combat Stress Reduction
Reduces the stress generated during combat (for both allies and enemies)

Drake's Balance Mod
Rebalances a number of things without breaking the game or making things too easy. (You might disagree)

Drake's Descriptions
Changes multiple descriptions in the game to be more tasteful in my opinion. Purely cosmetic.

Gender Equality
Adjusts the character creation system to allow most settings regardless of gender chosen. (NOTE: Your chosen gender will be changed in game based on genitals. Use MoreGenderOptions to set your gender at will and have it reflected in game)

Known bug: Overlap with Bugfix. Bugfix adds a stutter check. If this is loaded after Bugfix, the stutter check will be ignored/removed.
Solution: Load Gender Equality before Bugfix (Ordinarily, you should load Bugfix before anything else, but this is the one exception)

I WANT TO BE THE LITTLE GIRL
Named in honor of Moot from 4chan. Allows you to choose 'child' during character creation.

Kill For Mana
Allows you to gain mana for each enemy killed after combat. (3-5 randomly; same amount as raping them)

Line 126
Adds a comma in descriptions.gd that was missing. This caused me a few headaches. (Request has been sent to have this fix included in Bugfix mod, if it is included, I'll remove this mod entirely as it will no longer be needed)

No I in race
Original game's code didn't account for races starting with the letter I in it's determination of using 'a' or 'an' so I fixed that.

Perfect Trait
Adds a very overpowered trait to the game, and makes it selectable for your starting slave.

Vagina Please
This mod simply replaces many uses of the word "pussy" with the word "vagina" to make things more tasteful in my personal opinion. Purely cosmetic

NOTE: Beastkin Mouse & Rat will break all descriptions in game if it is not used with Line 126. The order of these two mods does not matter.

Every mod in this list (except for Beastkin Mouse & Rat) is fully self contained and should work as intended with no dependencies. Every mod here should work with Bugfix, but I have not tested these mods with any other mods.

Back up your Progress Data as well.

Installation and Update Instructions - IMPORTANT

Any time that a new version of the mod is released or on a fresh install, you absolutely must do the following:

  1.  Extract Ankmairdor's BugFix v6b and this mod, AricsExpansion, into your %AppData%/Strive/mods folder
  2.  Verify that the extracted folders are "Strive-1.0d-Bugfix-V6b" and "AricsExpansion" (If they aren't, the correct folders are likely within the ones you extracted.)
  3.  Start the Game; Activate BugFix v6b (and ONLY this). Hit the Exit Game button.
  4.  Start the Game; Activate AricsExpansion BENEATH BugFix v6b. Hit the Exit Game button.
  5.  Start the Game; Make a New Game. Immediately SAVE (as soon as possible). LOAD that game you just Saved.
  6.  You are ready to play! Have fun and enjoy the new features. If you have any Bugs, please use the Debug mod to give me the specific error so we can resolve it.
  7. To upgrade BugFix 5a to v6b: Walk backwards through the steps. Fully deselect/uninstall ONLY AricsExpansion, Restart, THEN uninstall the Bugfix, restart, then start back at step 1 to reinstall all the new goodies. Take it slow, don't skip steps, and you won't break things.
  8. If you are using RalphsTweaks or want to enable/disable any features, please go to %AppData%/Strive/mods/customScripts/expansionsettings.gd and enable/disable your features. Custom Settings in expansionsettings.gd currently don't preserve through mod updates (but we're working on a solution to that).

•Mod Compatibility• 

Note: It is fairly obvious, but I highly recommend releasing any patches as a separate downloadable option and not doing this process for the original mod files, as that will cause an error if the user doesn’t have Aric’s installed and active.

Note 2: This mod touches a LOT of files, due to the project to make full hybrid race support. 

To make Aric’s Expansion compatible with another mod: 1) Compare the files that the two mods alter from the base game (generally under “scripts”). Note any that both mods touch. 2) Find the alterations Aric’s Expansion made to the script. These are always between the “#—-Added by Expansion—-#” and the end marked by #—-Expansion End—-#”. 3) Copy and paste each section from Aric’s Expansion into the mod’s files. 4) Modify any “#Changed By Expansion#” parts of the script to match Aric’s Mod (usually by placing # in front of the changed part) 5) Ensure the mod (or patch of a separate patch was created instead) loads after Aric’s Expansion (which should override Aric’s with the patched mods files).

Files that could not be specifically marked (Items and Traits) have their Modified script added to the end of their relative scripts.

Note: I've removed several of the "Explanations" for the new systems as some were out of date or just lengthy and replaced with the general Overview below for those requesting it. I plan on starting to work on a fleshed out "ReadMe" document with the detailed look at the explanations after the new update.

•Overview•

What is Aric's Expansion Rebred? At this point, its pretty much a Strive 4 Power expansion. It touches, changes, and updates most things in the game and adds multiple new systems. Some examples of the new systems or changes are:

  • NPCs Expanded - Genital/Breast/Lip Sizes, Stripping/Nudity (including new supported Image Types), Expanded Talk Functions (Consent, Fetishes, Dialogue Events, Randomized Master Nouns, etc), Lactation Overhaul + Traits, Personality Flaws/Traits (for Dialogue variance), New Movement Options (Flying, Walking, Crawling, Immobile) with Combat Support, New General Traits (Ditzy, Lisp, etc)
  • Sex Expanded - Kinsey Scale Sexuality System (for wider options than Straight/Bi/Gay) with shifting sexualities based on actions, Attraction System, Cum Tracking, New Sexual Requests, New Sex Dialogue, Genital Wear and Tear, Incest
  • Pregnancy Expanded - Overhaul of the Pregnancy System, Pregnancy Speed Changes, Offspring Stat Boosting, and more
  • Character Customization - New Specializations and Starting Slave Specializations, Sizing Support
  • World Expansion - Persistent NPCs with personal reputations and interaction tracking, Town Events, Town Reputation Changes
  • Farm Expansion - A brand new reworked farm panel, ways of milking/breeding, new jobs, a variable Milk Economy, trait lines, snail breeding, and items!

•Consent•

One of the most common questions now is: "Why won't anyone join my party?"

You haven't asked them to (in the new consent system). The Consent System is found under the "Talk > Lets talk about Consent" area. This will show you any topics you can ask for consent for that you haven't gotten consent for OR asked and been refused that same day. To join a party, they must agree to Travel/Fight with you (in v.07 Unique Characters can always join, even without consent). Sex consent can be obtained through this method or the standard Dating method. The rest have a chance based on their obedience, loyalty, and possibly their opinion of the fetish (ie: Incest/Pregnancy). If they refuse you, you can ask again the following day.

•New Image Types: Nude & Pregnant•
You know how in the main gate there are images for the characters Clothed, Naked, Etc? Do you have that favorite Slave that you wish you could have a naked or pregnant image show for without manually changing it?

This mod will now look for a picture of any Slave that has a Body Image Set and either try to find, in this order:
A pregnant image if Pregnant Duration > 0
Otherwise a naked image if at least 2 of out of the 3 are exposed (Chest, Genitals, Ass).
If the Slave isn’t pregnant, isn’t naked, or there isn’t a valid image for either than it will try to reset the original body image if it was changed or leave it alone if it was not.

You, the player, will have to go into the folder where your Portraits/Bodies/Mods are and add pictures to the following folders:
bodiesnaked
bodiespreg

The game will then look in those folders, HOWEVER, keep in mind that all images (portrait, bodies, bodiesnaked, and bodiespreg) will have to have the exact same name and extension (ie: sexyslave.png) or the game wont find it.

Sex, Stretching, and Wear & Tear

Size matters during sex! Each partner's lust and sensitivity increases or decreases by 10% for each level of difference between the holes. Larger members = larger arousal gains, but also the potential to Stretch or even Tear the hole.

•Pregnancy•
Pregnancy Consent
You know what sucks? Being a Slave, getting fucked (willingly or not), then BOOM, you’re pregnant.
Or it did. Because now you have a say!

Consent
Because Consent matters, slaves now have the option to be asked for consent to impregnate them. You still can without consent, but the pregnancy is going to be a lot more stressful for them as they carry an unwanted child. With their consent, having a baby can be a Loyalty building experience instead!
But what if you aren’t the one impregnating them? What if you want one of your Breeding Studs to, or even crazier, one of their family members?
They can be asked about that and give consent for that as well.

Wanted Pregnancies
Unwanted Pregnancy - +Stress for the duration of the pregnancy
Wanted Pregnancy - +Loyalty for the duration of the pregnancy

Consent Types
Through interaction system:
Sex (with you) - They will have sex with you
Through the Dialogue System
Pregnancy (Must have Sex Consent) - They will have a baby with you.
Breeding Stud - They’ll breed others for you without having to have sex with you first (so no more forced M/M unless you want to)
Breeder - They’ll willingly get pregnant with any Studs
(Incest supersedes the above)
Incest - They will willingly have sex with family members (you included)
Incest Breeder - They will be willing to get pregnant with their relatives offspring

Note: If the Slave has an incredible stressful pregnancy OR has reached their desired number of children, they may revoke Pregnancy Consent after birth.

Desired Number of Offspring:
Slaves now have a Desired Number of Offspring randomly decided for them (Modified by their race, some races just breed more).

Biological Clock - 
Slaves have a Biological Clock that, depending on their age, spurs them toward wanting to procreate IF their number of children is less than their Desired Number of Children

Mansion Upgrades
The Nursery can be upgraded to 2 different levels.
The first level will unlock the ability to keep the children (as per vanilla game), as well as the Breeder and Stud Jobs.
The second level will allow you to adjust the speed of Pregnancies by talking to your Head Girl.

#Future Plans: A third level that will allow you to unlock specific Traits or open up multiple Baby pregnancies.

•Sex•
This is a harder one to define as a lot ties in together. Then again, I suppose all of it does to some extent.

Sexuality (and the Kinsey Scale)
Sexuality is a spectrum. Just not in this game. Well, that’s fixed. No longer are you “Bisexual”, “Homosexual”, or “Other”. Detailed in the in-game Library.

•Combat Changes•

Movement comes in a few different flavors. This is (hopefully) the template to build off some new, cool combat options. For now, if a unit can fly, isn't encumbered (via items, titsize, or pregnancy/inflation), and isn't exhausted, they will. If a unit is exhausted or restrained, they will crawl. Too exhausted, restrained, or overweight, they will only be able to lay there.

Movement Types
Flying - Speed/Attack Increased 125%
Walking - Normal
Crawling - Speed/Attack Decreased 50%
None - Speed/Attack are 0

Combat Stress Reworked - Combat stress has been reworked from a flat amount every time to a chance to gain stress each time the unit takes damage depending on their courage and the amount of damage taken. This allows for longer expeditions as well as adding more functionality to the “Protect” action.

This mod add 6 new spells derived from one of the Mutation's feature, which being adding Trait(s) to a servant and bring more convenience when it comes to RNGs. The added spells are as follow:

Curse = [Weak, Clumsy, Magic Deaf, Frail, Scarred, Blemished, Alcohol Intolerance, Infertile, Infirm](Newly Joined Mage)

Mind Bending = [Foul Mouth, Mute, Coward, Clingy, Pliable, Ascetic, Spoiled, Dominant, Submissive](Journeyman)

These spell can be purchase upon reaching the respective Mage Guild's rank stated on the right of the spell's content. The spell that contain more than one Trait means they're gained by random, it is still far more convenience and forgiving compared to the Mutation spell. These spells have somewhat been balanced with high gold and mana casting cost.


The Trait is sorted based on Tag with exceptions being Unique, Devoted, and Slutty as I think they're too special to be included within Bless(Positive Physical), Curse(Negative Physical), or Mind Bending(Positive and Negative Mental).


"Oath of Loyalty" and "Awaken Desire" effects are technically not included within Mutation spell, but I figured it could bring more convenience. "Special Favor" is indeed powerful, I added it for the same reason being convenience as those Trait are uniquely tied to one character only and this spell will allow you to customize, as well as experimenting with your servant. I didn't add sex-related Trait as they are (I believe) easy to obtain.


For example a Wolf Beastkin with Quick, Pretty Voice, and Hard Worker is now easier be made rather than breeding Tisha continuously and pray to RN-Jesus that you achieved the same result as the above.


P.S This Mod is not compatible with any mod that overwrite "spells.gd" as I couldn't figure it out how to not overwrite the file. Pardon my incompetence;;

Recommended for those that is still exploring the base game and/or want more control over the Trait randomizer.

Play this mod for a rebalance of of financial and combat elements for a tighter/tougher game, plus some new quests, enemies, items.

Rest is available in cities and villages.
Can meet the chancellor (to start the main quest) in your home town.
Brothel is now always avaialble in your home city.
Main quest step added to quickly raise Frostford reputation (since you can't do Frostford guild quests if it's not your home).
Cook can no longer buy food in Frostfood.
Minor vendor changes in each city.

SLAVE GUILD
Repeatable guild quests are available only in the home city.
New repeatable quests for each city with new completion conditions.
The slave guild has its own shop that sells your essential slavery items. New items tabards added.
Permanent collars with the same effect as leather collars except they are permanent, not an accessory, and come with a text tag.
You can spend TP (50,100) to reduce the away days for slave guild services.
The slaver's guild offers a charity scheme. This is a financial challenge that escalates weekly. It gives no reward. It is entirely optional.
Slave guild has an option to return captives to your mansion.
Can no longer sell untamed monsters to the guild (can still quicksell if you stay outside). Some minor sale price balancing.
Minor changes to the races found in the slave guild.
Can no longer change a slave's specialization by training a new one.
Quicksell does not return ropes.

SLAVES
Level up requests made suitable for Frostford & Gorn with futher rebalancing to make them less obstructive.
New level up requests.
New balanced set of jobs available with different jobs based on your home city.
Sex traits are now important in reducing stress and increasing income from sex jobs.
Prostitution(streetwalking) is always available but can have poor outcomes.
Three quests are available at the brothel to unlock improved prostitution, escort jobs, exotic whore jobs.
Lab assistant job will create base solutions for alchemy.
Sebastian's slave request has less chance of a slow/expensive outcome.

EQUIPMENT
Some weapons and armour changes, generally rebalancing ability point requirements, energy costs. Check these before you buy them!
New items shortbow, spear, and battleaxe with their own effects. Claymore has a new effect.
New item reward in the underdeep library.
Magic scrolls can be found in loot. Gain spell abilities while you are wearing them.
Magic items are named, enchants are simplified, and some items have a standard enchant.
Recipes for beauty potion and hair dye. Minor potion rebalancing.

SPELLS
Guidance returns the party directly to the Mage Guild (Wimborn).
Invigorate removed.
Fear has a 3 turn duration.
Heal, Dream, and Sedation changed slightly.
Acid Spit deals damage over a number of turns.
Spider's web ability can be found on scrolls.
Web, Sedation, and Debilitate all inflict the same effect, Slow.
Sedation can be cast when travelling.
Ability training cost rebalance.

ENEMIES
Enemies have a new ability point generation method that eliminated a few older bugs and will give similar or slightly less AP than guild slaves.
Enemies are created with a range of levels, also some slight level changes to zones.
Bandit populations changed.
Frozen wisps added.
Sandworms added.
Chests can now have a surprise. I'm not telling you what, it's a surprise.

EXPLORING
Panic status (-5 speed) added in combat for slaves with over 100 stress.
Elven Grove connects to Shaliq instead of the Ancient Forest.
Open Road encounter.
Minor changes to forest bandits in Cali's quest.
Taurans have migrated to the plains.
Demons no longer walk the swamp.
Monsters are better at escaping.
Undercity library moved to the tunnels.
Can get lost in the undercity without a ranger.

Additional info:

If the game suddenly crashes thus leaving no terminal nor logs or the game does not start with 2 windows, then I recommend running the executable from the Command Prompt. Should not affect anything outside the lab/sex scenes, new NPCs will still be generated with the default options.

Oh, and if you use the "grow a penis" option in the lab, it shouldnt force a human penis anymore and rather use whatever type that NPC has in its settings.

RELATIONS:

The new version of this mod adds a ton of new relations into the game. Instead of only showing parents and siblings, it might now also show grandparents, half-siling, inlaws, cousins and other. However, to keep things reasonable, some parts have been simplyfied, ie NPCs will usually only appear once in the list and only with their closest relationship.

If you look at an NPC, the desciption text should also mention now if they are related to you.

MARRIAGE:

The concept of marriage should need no explanation. However, unlike in reality, you can be wed to multiple people without issues.

Marry:

Person1 will be married to person2. If you enable the surname option, person1 will adopt person2s surname (even if is it empty). If you want person2 to have person1s surname, you need to switch person1 and 2. NOTE: Aside from the surname option, it makes no difference who is person1 or 2.

Divore:

Should be pretty obvious. NOTE: If you changed the surname during marriage, it will NOT revert to the old name. You would need a potion to rename the slave yourself (if you remember the old name).

Marriage trait:

Married characters get a new trait that lists all spouses. Its mostly for roleplaying, but it also gives a small relationship buff for these NPCs.

ADOPTION:

All adoptions have two options: 'close relatives' and 'retain the family ties'.

If you uncheck the first one, only the two persons selected are affected by an adoption. ie your siblings or children will not be affected. If you enable it, any person you addopt will also be considered a foster by your siblings (see below for more explanation).

If you uncheck 'retain the family ties', then ALL existing family relations for the adopted person are cleared. ie parent will be "Unknown" and all ties to siblings or children are removed. If you check it, the person will keep the connections and serve as 'bridge' between the families.

Adopt Child:

Person1 will be added as a foster child to person2. If you enabled the 'close relatives' option, ALL of person2s children will also be regarded as person1s foster siblings.

Adopt Parent:

Person1 will be added as a foster parent to person2. If you enabled the 'close relatives' option, ALL of person2s siblings will also be regarded as person1s foster children.

Adopt Sibling:

Person1 will be added as a parent to person2. If you enabled the extended family option, ALL of person2s siblings will also be regarded as person1s foster siblings.

GENDER:

Previous versions of the mod allowed the player to overwrite the gender/sex for NPCs by talking to them or change their own setting in the personal options. This has been changed, it is now a service of the slave guild and costs a bit of money (but otherwise works the same).

This mod changes a lot of things, chances are it won't work very well with any other non trivial mod.

Brief overview of changes/additions:

  • The Mages Order has provided all Masters with chastity belts to use as they see fit
  • A variety of new sex actions have been added, largely focused around the chastity belt or more general S&M
  • The chastity belts are magical in nature which decrease sensitivity but do not prevent orgasms
  • There are orgasm blockers that can be used independently or with the chastity belts
  • Once a chastity belt is locked, the person who locked it on gets a key for it, and only they can unlock that chastity belt
  • In other related news, it has been discovered that rope can be reused and does not need to be cut off after each use

Hello, today I am editing a post and I describe what my colleagues from the group did when I could not take care of the project (I currently have about 20 percent of what they prepared but it will change).

  • First of all, the photo engine that is currently added to the test version will change, many things have been improved and will be in the final version as soon as I work with it.
  • Secondly, we are currently checking the linux port and the macOS port is being created thanks to a group of people who saw my last answer.
  • Currently, there are 6 explicit statistics in the game, that is:
    • Force
    • Speed
    • Defense
    • Magic attack
    • Magic Defense
    • Life energy
    • But depending on the character class, he will get from one to four additional stats.
  • We changed the idea of generating maps and added more villages. There are currently ten villages on the map and you can get different items in each one.
    • There are 4 hidden villages added that each player will have to find (and contain items for taming certain species of monsters.)
  • Alchemy has been largely changed as they have received complaints from testers that it is too complicated.
  • We've added crafting items with different item levels:
    • Failed (All stats are negative)
    • Fit (One stat is lowered by 2)
    • Normal (Statistics match the item description)
    • Advanced (All stats are increased by 2)
    • Legendary (All stats are increased by 15)
    • Mythic (All Stats are increased by 30) (only to be found on a special quest)
  • Currently, 32 items to be crafted and 42 items to be found in shops have been added to the game in addition to these items, there are also items that can be found by the race, each race has from six to ten items added.
  • Currently, there are 72 classes that can be obtained, all of them have special requirements, e.g.
    • Race
    • Minimum strength
    • and so on
  • Of course, the rule of one class per slave remains, but we followed the recommendations of the testers and added the option to change the class, of course, if the class has a limit for a given statistic, e.g.
    • a maximum of 90 Defense while in the new class there is a limit of up to 30 Defense will be returned as points.
  • New ways to earn from finding treasures to collecting by working for different guilds.
  • The upgrade system of the villa has been changed to a system for placing furniture and other additions in empty rooms that can be purchased in the city hall. (The maximum number of rooms has been changed to 50 due to race needs.)
  • We changed the name of Trails to Attributes to change the matchmaking system a bit and added 142 different attributes that can literally make the entire character balance after getting a negative attribute due to fear or disobedience (we'll see how testers react to this after it's added).
  • Various races have been added that can only be acquired by pregnancy.
  • Actually, some slaves may refuse intercourse despite permission, a period of greater ovulation has been added (of course, this does not change the fact that you can get pregnant at any time, but during ovulation it is, for example, 90% and during normal time it is 25%).
  • Items to replace magic collars have been added that do not fit me well with such a developed concept and are currently replacing them:
    • Chastity belt (the person cannot masturbate during use)
    • Additional training tools (yes, we have a person who is in BDSM and has come up with the concept of the rest herself, so I do not reveal the details because even I cannot read it).
  • Character stats have been added in addition to the spell it was originally expanded to:
    • Beautiful
    • Submissive
    • Obedience
    • Loyalty (this is how you will understand two different stats during the game)
    • Safety
    • and 3 statistics that I do not reveal.
  • (a thing proposed by a person from the community that we took as a tester of a closed Alpha) So we split Futa into Futa and Dickgirl (Dickgirl - a girl who has a penis but no eggs and therefore cannot fertilize someone else)
  • An extensive story that has been changed to a more extensive map.

With the same mechanics that can be revealed this

"Low animations" - CoalKMK and SecondKMK

"Random Dates" - YueKMK

"Multilayered images" - The whole KMK team

"Random Portrait" - YueKMK and GFR-Grafik

"System of saturation and balanced eating" - CoalKMK

and many others that are to be a surprise at the beginning of the adventure with the mod.

Thanks very much to the port team, especially with the linux version, because I don't think I could get it myself (I'll add the team name as soon as they finally decide).

As soon as I finish them, the tools will appear in the days, but the mod itself, or rather the game, because we will put it in .rar as soon as I review their work and find out what is suitable and what is not.

Currently, the game is on the Godot 3.5 engine and weighs 3.2Gb before packaging, but I will tell you how much it will brew afterwards when everything is ready.

Hello, here's my second post-covid update on the forum, I have currently checked and implemented 90% of what the rest of the group came up with, from some smaller changes to changes to the entire mechanics, I am just working on the last corrections of what I have reviewed and there are 7 new mechanics with them, new races and classes have come along with them. what has happened some graphics currently with the whole file I have 4.7GB the ports are already playable beta 0.8 and are checked by people who help us with this project, I hope that within a month we will finish the basic version and we will release some balance loads and additional content to our mod, I am sorry for how it was prolonged in time, but I want to release something that will change the game a lot, not like mods that only add something along the way, I expanded the plot itself and you currently have 58-66 hours of the plot itself, but you can change a lot in your own world, you can even take over the power in the village, many things have also been repaired, e.g. as I wrote in the last post the game was in version 0.5.2 Beta Fix, i.e. the version that had only the bugs corrected from what I wrote, but now we are entering version 0.8.1 Beta and the version that I will definitely throw is version 1.0 which will not have bugs.

In addition, I will say that there are currently 15 mechanics that have been added and over 100 classes.

I just hope that you will like the mod and that it will not be overdone.

Installation

To install simply download S4P-RalphsModdedAricsMod097.zip, extract and:

  1. Move the folder "S4PGameFolderRMAM097" to wherever you like on your drive(s) example: C:\S4PGameFolderRMAM097\
  2. Add the mod folder 
    1.  For Windows 10 at least, navigate to or create folders so you have the folder path C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Strive\mods\
    2. If you've installed Aric's Mod before, rename "AricsExpansion" to something else to back it up
    3. Move the folder "AricsExpansion" from RalphsStandaloneAM097.zip to C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Strive\mods\
  3. Take no other steps at all (Do NOT "Apply" Aric's Mod from the mod menu in the game)
  4. Run Strive.exe, start a new game, and confirm no errors
  5. Optional: Download RalphsTweaks.zip (below) and install per the instructions below (under the 'Optional' heading)
  6. Optional: Download and install some portrait packs (they really add to the game)
  7. Play or Apply other mods (Random Portraits is the only one I know that plays nicely with this), play with scripts, break the game/mod (seriously take no other steps than those above even if you find readme's that say otherwise; those are just leftovers from Aric's mod which is already fully applied).



How to Install Random Portraits mod (optional): 

Start from a working Ralph's install and then apply random portraits mod from in-game mod menu, but make sure not to have the box checked on Aric's when you do since it's already applied and you don't want to screw up the manual install that's already premerged.  You might get this when you click on full body image under Customize, but reportedly nothing breaks and it works fine.

ERROR: Signal 'value_changed' is already connected to given method '_on_scroll' in that object. At: core/object.cpp:1473

To install Random Portraits:

1. download random portraits mod
2. extract it into C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Strive\mods\
3. a) run Strive.exe    b) go to mod menu    c) checkmark random portraits mod (and nothing else)     d) install
4. reboot game
5. check-box the random portrait usage to on under settings/options (whichever)

    • Made uncommon races like Dragonkin very rare to show up in genealogy for mixed race hybrids

    • When accelerating development of the fetus, sexual traits from parents are removed for children and have a chance to be removed for teens; also inherited Slutty/Devoted resets to Pliable.
    • Reduced Quicksell penalty to multiply price x0.9 rather than x0.5
    • Changed Breeder specialization (nerfed sale prices a little and halved raise baby times)
    • Added Collect Bounty button next to Quicksell button. Works like Quicksell, but you collect bounties instead. The pay is a little random, but it can improve your reputation in the town you turn your bounties in. Note: for the moment captured guards could have bounties too (plan to fix in future update)

    • Added some new dryad/nereid encounters: Dryads don't take kindly to your types 'round here and the Nereid are trying to secure the beach against slaver scum while they're here for breeding season

        1) Increased spell costs for Sedate, Fear, Invigorate to 40 mana
        2) Rebalanced spell costs (Doubled most other spell costs)
        3) Made Summon Tentacle add 5 Lewdness to slave when cast (b/c otherwise it's not very useful IMO)

      • Why? I found I would fill up my mansion too fast and the turns dragged on me, this way you're forced to focus on a lower number of slaves early on.

Note the RandomPortraits mod should work just as well as it does with Aric's Mod 0.9.7, but you'll probably want to add manual portraits and bodies for some of the subspecies if you get them for immersion.

-Gimme Attributes: Automatically converts unspent attribute points into mansion upgrade points when you sell a slave so you no longer have to do it manually from the learning points menu. The strat is kinda cheesy but this makes it less annoying. (should be compatible with other mods)
-Faster Travel: Copies the "Proceed" option while traveling so you can press 2 instead of having to alternate between 2 and 1. Works with aric's

In addition to dealing with the change to Dark Elves/Drows/Tribal Elves I've made the randomportraits mod a bit more lenient with some capitalization which caused it to miss haircolors if used with the 1.2 editor. I've also added penis size as a variable to both the editor and randomizer. Plus some other minor tweaks. Remember to set your preferred weights in the randomportraits settings file if the randomization doesn't suit you.

These are both based on Kyler2's work and I just tinkered with them a bit, so all glory to him. I'll try to check this thread if there are some problems with my additions.

Oh, and if you still have your portrait/body directories with the old Elves, just rename the directories from DarkElf->TribalElf and Drow->DarkElf. You can do it with the editor, but it doesn't recognize Drow anymore (which you could change in the settings) and it's just much faster to rename the directories.

Install instuctions:

  • Once the ChastityBelt directory has been extracted to the mods location, you must enable the mod in the mods menu and "apply" to restart the game.
  • You must then go back into the mods menu and "apply" a second time. This is because this mod modifies the "mod" section of this game to allow setting of constants and this change is only picked up the second time.

This mod changes a lot of things, chances are it won't work very well with any other non trivial mod.

Brief overview of changes/additions:

  • The Mages Order has provided all Masters with chastity belts to use as they see fit
  • A variety of new sex actions have been added, largely focused around the chastity belt or more general S&M
  • The chastity belts are magical in nature which decrease sensitivity but do not prevent orgasms
  • There are orgasm blockers that can be used independently or with the chastity belts
  • Once a chastity belt is locked, the person who locked it on gets a key for it, and only they can unlock that chastity belt

Options for the keyholders behaviour: e.g. lenient, strict, strict with permenent chastity
New random daily keyholder events
Temp chastity release rewoked a bit and now it is only allowed if the keyholder is lenient
If keyholder is lenient then the orgasm blocker is left as it was
If keyholder is strict then the orgasm blocker will always be applied
Slave desire will not be generated if player has no control
Fixed bug where not all ongoing actions are stopped during a temp release where they are tied down
Updated some vanilla events to make a bit more sense if the player is in chastity

Removed a dependancy on the Redle Mansion UI mod

I made some changes to possible enchantments and some some extra encounters to fight the Big Golem/Wyvern/Garthor with minions more. Two extra areas in thee caves.

I cannot  get slave captures to work right in mines/bandit village areas that i added. (not sure what is wrong but i plan on updating when i do)

Currently, the entire game with the mod from us weighs 4.8 GB due to the fact that it comes with all textures.

The ported version, or as we called it internally, Strive for power 1.1 weighs little more, i.e. 484 MB.

Through the launcher, we can guarantee a minimum of 4MB per second, and by all possibilities on itch.io or external servers (Mega, GDrive) there is a dependency on the load, i.e. between 500KB Upwards.

I will answer right away if we do not put it as a mod that can be uploaded to the clean version 1.1, there is one reason because the mechanic part is permanently added to the engine to minimize the load .

Hence the question itself, that is the name of the poll for players. If you prefer, you can do a debate here in 3-4 days, I will check the entire thread and it will be a solution to our internal dispute.

This mod just adds a talk option to your servants to set their gender regardless of their bodily equipment. (choosing "decide for yourself" will set it back to the vanilla system)

Keep in mind that it might result in unintended sideeffect (like the chance to cheese sidequests by changing the gender of a servant), through I cant think of any other problems right now.

Update: Its now possible to marry a NPC at the slave traders. Doesnt do much atm, but maybe someone wants it for roleplay purposes.

Update2: You can now also addopt slaves as your children or siblings. Again, it has no impact aside from roleplay.

What does this do:

- re-balanced items weights to make more sense (and slight tweaks to one or two)

- new weapons and items: ancient sword, rune sword, ceremonial blade, greatsword, chainmail binini costume, chainmail bikini, archmage robes, half-plate armor, ornate field plate armor

- claymore rebalanced (+9 damage, -1 speed)

- beauty mixture now adds +5 permanent beauty per use. Not OP at all due to toxicity and cost

- kimono is now also a more expensive luxury item (+5 bonus)

 - emerald and ruby necklace are also luxury items


NEW in 0.2:

- more items (elven boots, elven half-plate, book of life, padded armor)

- leather armor nerfed, padded armor takes it's place and is slightly better even

- a few more tweaks to some items

- new instructions. No more regular launcher version for the mod


NEW in 0.3:

- added items to loot and enemies


You'll have to copy the 4 script files into the main game (files/script should be the destination. Backup the originals). Copy the .import and files folders too (they won't overwrite anything). DONE.

New to Strive, just started playing a few days ago and absolutely love it! The only issue I've come across so far is with the IRP mod & accompanying portrait pack from AK Phantom at https://itch.io/t/239558/body-and-portrait-packs-v29updated-2805

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but from what I've read it seems like the portraits / body images should be auto-selected based on the physical criteria of a given slave (hair color, breast size, etc). It definitely assigns a portrait and matching body when I get a new slave, but it appears to be selected completely randomly within the right race / age group. For example I'll get an adult human, but none of the other relevant details are accounted for.

Any insight on if my understanding is correct & if so any insight on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Just wondering if anybody else had similar thoughts.  Or an interest in making something that could save that stuff.

This is the combination of two of my previous mods plus some new extra features.
- Magic Mirror story quest mod
- Full support for starting in Gorn and Frostford
- Assorted game rebalancing for the combat and economics
- Optional payment system (charity scheme) for players who want a long term money challenge

Recommended for story mode. Not tested in sandbox.
Recommended for play with Randomportraits mod.

MIRROR QUEST
Similar to the previous mirror quest (see walkthrough). Starts after advancing far enough in the mage guild. You can now permanently throw away the mirror after looking into it.
Entries for the mirror and brothel quests in the quest log.

SLAVE GUILD
Repeatable guild quests are available only in the home city.
New repeatable quests for each city with new completion conditions.
The slave guild has its own shop that sells your essential slavery items.
Permanent collars with the same effect as leather collars except they are permanent, are not an accessory, and come with a text tag.
You can spend TP (50,100) to reduce the away days for slave guild services.
The slaver's guild offers a charity scheme. This is a financial challenge that escalates weekly. It gives no reward. It is entirely optional.
Minor changes the slave populations in the slave guild.
Can no longer sell untamed monsters to the guild (can still quicksell). Some minor sale price balancing.

CITIES
Rest is available in cities and villages.
Can meet the chancellor (to start the main quest) in your home town.
Level up requests made suitable for Frostford & Gorn with futher rebalancing to make them less obstructive.
New balanced set of jobs available with different jobs based on your home city.
Brothel is now always avaialble in your home city.
Three quests are available at the brothel to improve prostitution, access escort jobs, and access exotic whores.
Sex traits are now important in reducing stress and increasing income from sex jobs.
EQUIPMENT
Some weapons and armour changes, generally rebalancing ability point requirements, energy costs. Check these before you buy them!
New items shortbow, spear, and battleaxe with their own effects. Claymore has a new effect.
Magic items are named, enchants are simplified, and some items have a standard enchant.
Recipes for beauty potion and hair dye. Minor potion rebalancing.
Panic status (-5 speed) added in combat for slaves with over 100 stress

SPELLS
Guidance returns the party directly to the Mage Guild (Wimborn).
Invigorate removed.
Heal, Dream, Sedation, and Fear changed slightly.
Acid Spit deals damage over a number of turns.

ENEMIES
Enemies have a new ability point generation method that eliminated a few older bugs and will give similar or slightly less AP than guild slaves.
Enemies are created with a range of levels, also some slight level changes to zones.

MISCELLANEOUS
Minor changes to forest bandits in Cali's quest
Main quest step added to quickly raise Frostford reputation (since you can't do Frostford guild quests if it's not your home)
Taurans have migrated and you might need to look for them (in the plains)
Demons no longer walk the swamp
Monsters are better at escaping
Undercity library moved to the tunnels
Cook can no longer buy food in Frostfood
Minor vendor changes in each city

You should be able to switch between playing this mod and playing the base game. Some errors messages may get logged for legacy items (like spears) when shopping. To fix these, take a copy of the files/scripts/shopinventory.gd file with the Leo mod applied and use it to replace the same file in the base game. Permanent collars will also create log errors at end of day. To fix these, take a copy of the files/scripts/effects.gd file with the Leo mod applied and use it to replace the same file in the base game.

I am aware that the deviant trait cannot be learned in current versions if I understand what I read in this forum.

However in sexuals.gd I can find:

            slave.add_trait("Deviant")

            counter += 1

So there might be a way to get the deviant trait by adding the "degrading" tag to some action tags.

Anyone know which file to edit for that?

Hi! And welcome to the Modded Add-ons Database, MAD for short, mod page. Let me explain what this is for anyone that wants to help, contribute or add to the conversation.

I first wanted to make a mod to create new areas, but quickly realized that even if I made new areas I would need to populate them with new/existing encounters, which is why I first went looking for the encounters .gd file. What ended up happening was me realizing that enemy statblocks, enemy Groupings (What is mostly understood as random encounters during exploration in-game), enemy equipment sets (yes, that's right) and even Captured Slaves parameters are all in the same file. And it's freaking easy to add more without breaking nothing in the game, so, considering that I thought that instead of making 300 different mods that added some things here, and some there, and some over there, it would be way more convenient for the community to actually put them together in 1 single mod.

MAD is intended to be an Add-On to the base game, in no way shape or form its breaking the game balance or changing the existing baseline game. It is purely for adding things to the existing experience, making it more rich and varied. And, like I said, it is also intended to be a community effort, so all credits would be due to the creators of each encounter/captive specs/set of equipment/enemies stat blocks, and can participate in increasing the mod.

Right now I'm the only creator, but that just means I haven't convinced you about how easy it is.

MAD - Modded Add-ons Database

Whatever we can figure out that is essentially a database for the game, or can become one by our hand, to which we add stuff that gives it more variety. This is meant to be a simple mod in terms of code, but because is simple to code it also means ANYONE can contribute and so the amount of extra stuff we can add is... well, as much as we have imagination.

Items have been conquered! At least for the time being, Strive 5.22 is right around the corner so I can't stop working on this thing, ONWARDS to advanced scripting... this is going to be either hell or a breeze, there's no in-between that's for sure...

  4. Weapon damage scaling! So, I figured that one out, and heck, it works. Like a charm in fact. Now your Agi based slaves that have like NO strength--CoughCoughSquirrelsCoughCough-- can actually contribute in combat damage numbers without using magic!

  1. MAD update, now we have a nice Acronym and it makes sense. Also, its not completely retarded like MEERD...
  2. Added New Races!
    1. Beastkin and Halfkin Squirrels, with their fluffy tails and their shy personalities, ain't they cute? Racials should work, but if they don't then it means the fix I tried did nothing, so keep me posted on that. Also, Beastkin are all Uncivilized, Halfkin are not. (This was actually the hardest part of these races)
    2. Dwarves, because how the heck are there elves in here but no plumpy burly and jolly bearded folk?? I still don't know how to apply beard to their description, but once I do they will be bearded, don't you worry your pretty faces, for now we have... IMAGINATION.
  3. Poison Swamp has a background now... I did something with it okay? Don't say I forgot about it, because I totally didn't just do that as a side thing trying to add squirrelfolk's equipment page shades... No sirree...

  1. Coding update. You have no idea how long this took me. But its here, its now, its MULTI MOD SUPPORT!!!! WOO-HOO! (From here on is for other mod creators) consult me for mod compatibility patches, they shouldn't be hard to code.
  2. Oh, Also, Figured out how reputation gains work in the road so cart scripted event bug is fixed.

  1. Changed the chances for 'bearwithperson' event to occur wherever it appeared. Sometimes more likely, sometimes less.
  2. New cart scripted event added to prairie. There is still missing an instance where you gain positive reputation with the faction that matters in one of the options, this is a known issue.
  3. Following that... SCRIPTING! Woo-hoo! For the time being is something real small, but as I figure this code out I'll learn how to do more advanced stuff, so I'll keep you posted.
  4. Added a new functional region. Yes that's right. It is the Poisonous Swamp, located between the marsh and the Eerie Woods. This area is still a WIP so background image is still a placeholder, same as the description, encounters and their rate of appearance. I'm thinking of even making it Frostford reputation locked when I figure scripting out, but that is something to figure out later.

First mod change to build_genealogy  to  use in calculation grandparent genealogy and mutate gens based on parents toxicity and male change from settings.

Second mod add chance for slave to mature (like maturing potion). Chance based on racial coefficient multiply slave endurance, slave toxicity, number of pregnancy and number of day you owned slave.

If random portrait is selected in settings on maturing new portrait will be generated for no unique slaves.
