Normally either dreamy dungeon synth or black metal

Looks cool good stuff

Add more screenshots. Not giving much away with how the page currently looks

I am looking for the Dev of this game which is apparently using my music in it. I haven't been able to contact them. I only want to thank them and help to promote their game.

I don't use steam but if you do you should get behind this game and wishlist it!!!!

I believe this game uses a few assets from itch.io!

World's gone mad

What is a femboy?

I've updated Bane of Oakenshade and Below the Oak with DGVOODOO this should support modern graphics cards and improve lighting issues under windows 10 and 11

Have added an inbuilt lighting and graphical smoother to suit windows 10 now check it out!

Looks pretty good . There is not quite enough info there on game descriptions.  A few eye catching details look good on the page. It's simple enough without being overly complicated.

Yeah just the character images o there than that looks good. Id say it's appealing

Wow good stuff. Good to see C64 still going strong

Hope you enjoy

Nwe game out. Expect a dark dungeon crawler. Fairly Grundy definitely keeps you on your toes. Has some horror/survival elements in there aswell. There is plenty of treasure and secrets to be found Below the Oak. Resources management is extremely important so don't go drinking potions like there is no tomorrow. Out smart your enemies and play to your advantages.

I stated awhile ago this is my last game for the time being. This is true. I'm not going anywhere just have nothing more in the pipeline at the moment and looking forward to a break. Please share my content around and I hope you enjoy it. I will respond to messages and Emails almost daily!

Out now!!!!

Thanks

Yes I loved that game. I played version 2.1 aswell. Some awesome dungeon crawling in the Meera crypt and tunnels early on. I never finished it I encountered some bug where an NPC called Gnald didn't spawn where I needed to progress the story. Loads of work gone into that game true credit to the developer. I wish he would finish that game off I've been in correspondence with him regards to reviving Moratheia and sadly he stopped replying to me. Almost 12 months ago.

How he made all those custom map tiles line up and added unique movements for unique enemies is beyond me. All textures are nice quality too. Sword of moonlight engine could produce something very viable today with minimal coding if some dedicated developers got on board as a group. Could create a huge unique fantasy game. Moratheia showcases what can be achieved.

I'm about to upload version 1.0 I hope it's bug free I ironed out everything  I could find

Read novels, watch movies, go on adventures. Be inspired

Other people are unreliable

it's definitely for men who can't catch girls that's for sure. Jeez gotta get out and have a dip not hid behind a screen. No wonder they can't find any

Blender

I'll add this game was finished early 2023 with a reduced number of planned features due to some scripting bugs

I'll add the this game was updated to version 2 in November 2023 after this jams conclusion

EA are absolute scum when it comes to that sort of thing. I heard about the secure rom issues with a lot of games

I haven't seen that much open source but it's always a good thing. Right to repair is a must. Not to mention the knowledge and skills you learn in the process.

It's not sustainable. Really puts people in the upgrade and dump ewaste mind set. I got a mate he buys a new PC every 12 months top of the range dunno how he does it. Has a 3080 last year 4090 this year. Just seems stupid

At this stage I am incredibly sceptical of services like Steam due to the fact they have games in the library they no longer work on Windows 10. The minimum requirements are stated on the site for operating systems that can't even access steam. I know when you try download a 32bit Mac game it has an error stating you need a 32bit launcher client. The last 32bit supported system was 10.14 (Mojave) from late 2018. Steam has already dropped support for this system in February giving the operating system less than 5 and half years of lifespan. Not to mention in the not too distant future they will drop windows 10 support so that renders half the library useless. An example of this is 'Medieval Total War 1' on Steam it doesn't run well past windows XP yet it's still available on steam albeit with scathing bug reports and compatibility reviews. Lots of thumbs down reviews. I've actually uploaded a workaround patch here on itch.io to fix the broken steam version. It's practically a crime in my eyes. I'm a plumber by trade and I cant just click my fingers and decide the warranty on my workmanship is void because it suits me. I can't bend the rules and regulations to suit my agenda or I'll have my licence revoked. It's no different to buying a car that self destructs a after 5 or 10 years. It's ridiculous

It begins around 2006ish

Examples of physical games I have that are now broken.

Battlefield 2042 won't accept registration because servers shut. Completely unplayable without hacking work arounds

Bioshock 1 windows live. Shutdown disc doesn't work not redeemable for steam key. Completely unplayable

Dragon Age 2 physical disc is tied to Origin account. Non transferable to another computer. Origin store offline. 1 time registration completely unplayable

Morrowind Ubisoft re-release  GOTY. Requires steam key but no longer runs on specified systems due to client shutdown. Effectively destroys the game when the original release still works fine.

Might & Magic X. Ubisoft Uplay servers shut. Unable to launch game. Although I heard this was rectified but it doesn't support operating systems the game was made for.

Rome Total war Mac Port. As an honourable mention game still runs but online patches at Feral interactive is shutdown.

Exactly. I've never pirated anything but can see why people do it now.

Very interesting. I've been saying this for years. It's time something is done about it.

Indies unite

Maybe a message on the page and in the game itself stating the intentions

Sounds like people will be sceptical of it being an actual scam

Itch.io is awesome I've found some really cool games here with literally no coverage outside of this site. It's a shame!
