It's a really nuanced game with hard mechanics, but given enough time it has so many cool ideas, it can turn into a nice platformer with puzzles! The artstyle is unique and charming and somehow you make it pretty compatible with the crazy generated idea :D (I made the generator and I had to make a racer about a fish wanting to be a game developer in subatomic world, so I know what I'm saying xD)

thanks for playing my game and leaving some feedback! and also for hosting the jam, I had a lot of fun participating and using your prompt generator! And yeah you did well with that prompt Lol it was not an easy one :) I really liked the one generated for me even if i didn't get to half of it; i had big plans for an rpg element with lore and decision trees but my eyes were too big haha. Thanks again for hosting!

Great Game but I wish the instructions were a little bit more clear

Developer

I agree, it was very unclear to the player what to do or why to do it or even how to do it. i meant to add a controls menu and some backstory and more clues to the player but ran out of time and effort. Thank you for playing and leaving feedback!!

I didn't expect a platformer to come out of that prompt,  but you managed to do it in your creative ways (if I were the one who got that prompt, I would be stuck with making a point-and-click game or a visual novel).

I managed to get to the part where the hole opens up but then find myself stuck lol. I saw from the comments that I need a pair of high bouncing shoes so I'm glad to know I actually missed things.

I also like the calming music and the boy (girl? genderless mushroom/fungi?) fishing on the crescent moon is a nice touch (which I think is a reference to Dreamworks).

Thank you making the game and I hope you'll keep up the good work.

it was supposed to be a platformer/rpg hybrid where you played as detective/lawyer attempting to solve crime in order to reuinte the 4 warring mushroom factions and save the world by getting them to return to their work as vital decomposers but I overscoped by approximately 3000%. which means i kinda missed the whole "lawyer navigating the legal system of the magical realm where you must balance the ecosystem to prevent its collapse" part of my prompt lmao.

I personally referred to the fishing fungi as Moon Man but that is up to the individual.

Thank you for playing my game and leaving feedback and some kind words :) best of luck with your future game dev endeavors!

> but I overscoped by approximately 3000%

Haha very relatable.

Best of luck to you too!

i think it's a solid 2d collect-a-thon, which is a genre that isn't really explored too often so it was interesting to see. i think i got to the end, i got a gun and high-bouncing shoes and went through a hole in the roof into the white void. if i missed something then lmk because i'd love to explore everything in this game but assuming that was it, it was neat, i liked platforming around and finding all the tribal leaders.

thanks for playing and leaving a comment, I appreciate it! yeah that was it haha, I only added like 20% of what I wanted to. basically you just break through the roof and jump around and thats it. maybe i'll make more in this genre it was pretty fun and it's not too hard to make compared to other games with more complicated systems. I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed playing my game, thanks again! I'll make sure to check your game out when I get a chance

I need more coyote time! Like the concept, i couldn't find all the tribal chiefs tho :(

Developer

what do you mean by coyote time? Lol. Sorry to hear you couldn't find the 4 cheifs, maybe you missed the purple one in the bottom right hand corner? either way thank you for playing and leaving a comment, I appreciate it! I'll check your submission out when I get a minute!

Viewport is messed up sorry it kind of works if you fullscreen with the embedded option. The cut off text tells you to meet with each of the 4 tribal leaders which just means colliding with all 4. Do that and then meet with Silly Syban. My b

Based on the following randomly generated prompt: "A tiny adventure game without sun where you are a lawyer navigating the legal system of the magical realm where you must balance the ecosystem to prevent its collapse."
