Can't download any games!

My friend is having an issue wherein, when trying to download games through itch (in the application, not the browser), it somehow mistakenly thinks he has -1b of storage. He's running Windows 10, and the reason I specify it's my friend is because I've lost the screenshot of the glitch (we tried to fix this a while ago and gave up, but we're revisiting the error for the latest big charity bundle) and currently don't have his full system info available. If that turns out to be necessary, I'll update this as soon as I do have that info! But, as of right now, I'm just trying to see if anyone else has had that issue that might know a quick fix we can try asap! It's been going on without change for a while, and we have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the itch application to no avail.

Update -- problem fixed! No wonder there were no fixes to be found. Somehow, he apparently managed to delete his C:/Users/[user] file?? And, it got replaced with a new (likely default) folder with the same functionality simply titled "user". So, the previous C:/~/[user] file that itch was attempting to put its games into no longer existed, therefore causing the error where it couldn't read the space properly. I... have no idea how that happened, honestly, and I was pretty baffled. Maybe this'll help someone else who has this issue in the future? Or, maybe this was just some kind of blue-moon cryptid situation where it's unlikely to ever happen again. Still documenting what worked just in case!
