Heyo, :) write to me on Discord: whitewingedwoof

Hey there, we are developing a hobby project, a 2D platformer set in a fantasy theme, and we are currently looking for a 2D Animator! Core animations will be done with Spine, and secondary (or less complex) animations will be done directly in Unity's Mecanim. You don't have to know either Spine or Mecanim; they're quite easy to learn. If you have a passion for 2D animation, please feel free to contact me on Discord: whitewingedwoof.

From our side, we can offer revenue-sharing and a nice, fun team to work with :)

I belive you missed on one "r" in your discord name ^-^

Heyo, do you have discord?

Love your stuff *-*

Hi there,

I came across your post and was impressed by your experience as a freelance copyeditor and your interest in technical editing for TTRPG projects, including game rules. Your portfolio showcases a strong attention to detail and an ability to interpret and clarify complex ideas.

I also appreciate your willingness to playtest and provide detailed feedback on games. Your approach to assessing games' mechanics and rules is highly valuable in the development process.

While I understand the importance of paid work, I'm currently seeking volunteers for a 2D platformer game project. Given your background in technical editing, I believe your skills would be well-suited for ensuring the clarity and coherence of our game dialogs and design documents.

If you're open to a collaboration on a volunteer basis, we would be happy to offer you a testimonial and a fair share of our earnings in exchange for your services. Please let me know if you're interested and we can discuss the project details further.

Thank you for your time and consideration. If you're interested, please feel free to contact me on Discord. My username is WhiteWinged#2347.

Thank you for your offer. I really appreciate your proposition. Unfortunately, we already have two composers and we couldn't fit you in. However, we will need plenty of music of diverse types, so I could easily add one of your tracks or something new that you would create for us. If you are interested, don't hesitate to contact me on Discord! :D

Hi Rachel,

It's great to hear about your interest in working in the games industry and your expertise in UX research. Our team is currently working on a 2D platformer game as a hobby project, and we would love to have you on board to help with user research.

Your skills in understanding what our audience thinks of the game and identifying pain points would be extremely valuable to us. We are all big fans of games ourselves, and we aim to create a great final experience for anyone who would play our game.

Since this is a hobby project, we are currently working on it in our spare time, and we may not be able to offer you paid work. However, we would love to work with you and share any profits we may make from the game fairly and justly.

If you are interested in working with us, please let me know and we can discuss the details further. We primarily use Discord for communication, so let me know if that works for you.

Thank you for reading all of this, and we look forward to potentially working together!

Well, beginnings are always the hardest. I would say the first 300 hours with Unity and C# are the most challenging. After that, it's still hard because you're facing even more difficult problems, but at that point, you can perform the vast majority of simple tasks on a whim, which feels pretty amazing. Finding a right group of people could be a great starting point to help you motivate yourself. Then just stick to simple stuff and before you know you will be doing harder parts too. Just dont give up if you really feel like doing something could make you feel happy. :)

Hey hey ~

We are currently developing a 2D platformer game set in a fantasy setting as a hobby project. We have some nice and friendly people on board, and most of us work on our project in our spare time outside of work. We all love games and we push things until we are happy with them. I've done the menus three times already (before they turned out good), and I promise you, you wouldn't want to see the first version. We've also reworked our main character three times, including the animations (the pain), but now it looks much better.

So if you're looking for a weird place where you can do whatever you want, as long as you have the determination to put in hard work to make it as good as you're able to and have fun while doing so (haha more like cry:D-at last until it doesn't work out), we would love to have you in our ranks.

If you have Discord, I can show you what we have accomplished so far. Here's mine: WhiteWinged#2347 (or your preferred way of communication)

Thanks for considering joining our team!
