You’re welcome to message me on twitter so we can chat about it better~

Oh hi! Sorry this reply is coming in real late. My current implementation is actually really finicky too I’m fixing it right now! But most enemies in the demo have two main scripts. A controller based on the player’s movement. This allows them to move around the field like the player does. Then theirs the “AI” Script which determines how the enemies move. The AI script also manages what the enemy “sees”. So their options are move, attack, or idle, then the AI decides which one to use.

I don’t understand the title but I absolutely love the gameplay of this! Mixing cards with anything is always a good time for me.

The game is so expressive! I absolutely loved playing it

Wishlisted! Can't wait to play more of this :)

This game is so cute and absolutely delightful!

red is far green is close! sorry bout that.

I'll put a scale next time for the colors, but thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing any ways!

You madman! Thanks for playing :)

Don't worry I got lost with the storyline too. I do hope you still enjoyed it!

Oh yes you're right, I got a bit too fidgety with the scene transitions. I planned to have a lot more mini games-- then realized that I was over scoping.

Wow that's some dedication! Or some auto clicker. Thanks for playing, I'll look into the Simon says when I have the time.

I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks for playing!

Ooh maybe I should put up a guide on the side for that one. Thanks for playing!

Welp. My jam games do tend to do that. I hope you still got a bit of fun out of it :)

Thankss! All the art is mine, but I can't take credit for the music. Those came from the youtube audio library, and the very few sfx were made with bfxr.

I certainly need to work on accessibility features! Thanks for pointing the keyboard problem out.

The balance is real off. His repeatable weapon should have more stall time really -- alternatively I'm still figuring out how to implement weapon charge ups. I think that could add another layer to even the basic attacks~

Thanks a bunch again for playing and trying out my game :) I'll put all this feedback to good use.

ah welp that really is a problem. Hopefully disabling the debug commands would remove that repeating issue.

Thanks so much for playing! Thanks for the game feel and cards comments, I tried really hard to capture those. And oops, sorry for the debug buttons!

I definitely need to make a more intuitive tutorial over all. Will try to have that ready in a not so far update.

The first stages are all preprogrammed, so yeah you start against two sentries. But if you meant that the stages kept repeating... I'll look into it.

Yes! Support Fire is a signature card It's very much meant to be really powerful. Also rare. I still need to figure out the card rewards and probability whatnots. I'm still testing some card layouts too, they look quite unfinished.

Thanks again for playing and the great feedback!

Such a smooooth game with great aesthetic. I wish the theme was pushed in a little bit more but this game is very good and fun!

Very well executed puzzle game! Thank you so much for having a dice preview, it helps so much.

Simple concept but great aesthetics and fun gameplay!

Great aesthetic and interesting gameplay! And the sounds are very very pleasing. Good game!

Game is pretty, but the inventory system is quite clunky. I admire the whole menu system, but taking items and rolling within the menu can get tiring real quickly. But there's definitely a lot of potential in the game :)

I love the theming and action! And I like that each die face was a full character. But I feel like there were a few things you could speed up to make the game feel crunchier and more satisfying. I also feel that having both sides roll the dice feels less strategic overall if there isn't more nuance to it. But overall a magnificent game.

The game is simple but really aesthetic and interesting. It also really makes you think. It doesn't fully incorporate a dice theme which in my opinion is a strong point. Good job!

Thanks!

Thank you! I actually wanted to implement the dice more into the game (maybe as health too) to drive home itself as a resource.

Thanks! I'm happy you think its juicy~

I'm so happy to hear you try and speed run it! But unfortunately, the dice combos at the end itself aren't fully working. In this build though, someone said 7 pacifist runs would reach 1000!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks! I really didn't want it to feel like just another spammy platformer shooter game jam entry (which mine definitely still is) but thanks again!

Quite interesting.

In a game of numbers, a thousand Dice Sized goblins would definitely beat me any day. I can probably focus better when trying to fight 1 Goblin Sized Dice Beast. Of course, either way, preparation is key! If I had nothing I'll likely lose to both.

Anyway, thank you for your query, and thanks for playing!

Thank you for your kind words :)

Thank you for playing! I really wanted to tie in the game and a point system instead of it just being open ended.

Thank you! I wanted the dice to feel like a proper resource.

Since you asked,

1. Dud
2. Basic
3. Split (didn't implement it) Basic
4. Explosive
5. BIG
6. Sniper

If I pushed it further, I would make a dice customization screen. But as it is now, a quick menu showing each one before hand would definitely be helpful.

Thanks for playing! I have no idea how to properly balance things around but I' glad you found it fun :)

I absolutely adore all the sound effects in your game. I intentionally didn't finish levels because I just wanted to keep playing.  It feels like there's so much for a 48 hour game. Super great job!

Well the projectiles don't really shoot in a straight line most of the time. I could have tried to do something to make it easier to aim but I'm not super sure how to yet. I'm glad you enjoyed the visuals :)
