Great intro and fast arpeggios. You really set the mood.

>Are those Uilleann pipes from Spitfire LABS?
YEAH! Love it. Voices and  Uilleann pipes in LABS incredibly good and inspirational.

> I wonder if you could vary the main theme a bit more as the music progresses to make it more engaging for listeners.
> I think taking the focus off of the main theme once in a while will help your music have more variety and engagement.
Agree. Not much time work with track and i didnt develop parts.

>maybe you could sprinkle those ideas even earlier in the piece to keep the listeners on their toes.
You're right. Its part from another try for this jam and slightly connected to other material.

Pure gold. Adore it. Except its short. On this jam one of my favs with The Tiny Whistle In the Deep Valley. Unique and smooth sound that hard to achieve.

I have some tracks similar to your submission to this jam. And its cool that you approve it! Rare to find other people immersed in odd time signatures and nonstandard grooves. I'll try fix sound)

>I'm gonna make sure to listen to some of the soundtracks again while thinking about the Lydian sound/feel
Check Saria's song and Zelda's Lullaby.

>I hope my comment didn't come across as rude or anything
No, its okay!)

>I see that the way I phrased my usage of scale makes it sound like I'm using a C Lydian but I'm not
>From a Western perspective, you can call (almost) all of the Japanese scales penta scales and call it a day.
Its really interesting thing with pentatonic all around the world or modes with the same notes. And they are really NOT THE SAME. But japanese music has its own kind of Lydian. And you can hear it while listening Legend Of Zelda OST or other japanese game composers. I've been thinking about this.

>The melody itself has a fundamental tone and depending on what tone is the fundamental a certain chord is played by the sho.
Oh, i read about this thing in traditional music. Its common in modal music. Dont know how say it in english correctly.

Thanks for informative comment! I'll listen again)

On 1:40 Simpsons intro. Love grooves and tension, unpredictable but entertaining development.

>This scale has a pentatonic core of C D E G A but F# and B can be also be present.
Then you got C Lydian mode. Nice minimalistic work anyway. Less is more.

Best sound for me. Best vibe and timbres. But Jofes is right. First minute (0:00 - 1:30) just awesome. Next part cant develop melodic ideas and stuck. But its almost ideal in other things. Really love it.

Need call and response between instruments and track will be great.

Not complicated track but have a concept.
I felt it...

Can imagine this soundtrack in a game and its a good game. Nice work with rhythm and space. Quack-quack percussion was funny.

Not matching theme but one of my favourite here. Cant stop dancing while listen.

3 days ago I named some characters. And now quite by accident i see two of them. Strange feelings...
Stunning planet textures. Clicking on random planet areas is a treat for the eyes.

Dont think i really get it, but  nice wobbling brain style  .

Thanks for comment and exploring constructeur.  Hope i improve algorithms and Dedales will be more than just this demo.

Wow. It was the first jam, where my project was ranked so high. Usually im in the middle of the list. Thanks for playing and critique, it gives motivation to improve.  Sorry for my english, if there are any mistakes.

My top of games on jam looks like this:

E13VEN Minute train ride
ODR: THE SUNKEN FLES
Dreamrooms

Visuals remind me of Marginalacct game. Dirty pixels and shaders, rough textures. Nice work, especially sound design. Controls are not intuitive, but its not big deal.

Low resolution mode was fun. Labyrinth was not.
Some places are amazing, such as home inside, ending locations and swimming pool.

Awesome start and sudden ending. Need more stuff like this one. I dont think it is LIMINAL, but aesthetics is cool (80s/old videotapes/vaporwave?)

Love trains a lot. Maybe the best idea for non interactive storytelling game. Everything is nice, but browser version has visual glitches and unplayable on my machine.
