Thanks Splerp! It means a lot. I definitely had the idea to make the wetness go down, but wanted the game to be really punishing. 

The actually ending someone comments how the old man has been here for 14 days. Then you die of starvation.

Everything i love in a game. I do wish the terrain was a slightly different color than the enemies early on to be able to tell them apart, but that the only note i have. Amazing game loved the sound as well. 

Fits theme well, and fun to play. I like the abstraction down to the simple pixels and the nose resembling a gun being so long.

Good game, good movement and the jump mechanic is interesting. Love the art style and use of the theme

i liked it for the first 5 seconds then it was hard. Really great sound effects and art style. 

Fun, difficult, and great little game!

Definitely  wanted to add more stuff and smooth it out! Ran out of time in this jam. To much rust on the ol programming brain to get it done.

the og story was the man watches the squirrel to fill the void of his wife being gone, she committed suicide due to debt. Felt a little intense though. didn't want to have a bunch of disclaimers or to trigger people.

Thanks for comment! I couldn't get the button to work :( so i shipped without. Time was definitely the enemy on this game.  Thank you for your kind words. 

is this game just a platformer? yes, yes it is. Does it excel at every aspect of it's design, audio, and artwork? Yes yes it does. 

The lack of mid air control makes it difficult, but rewarding. I'd be interested to see how it played with more traditional pixel platformer controls.

Music is banger. Art is banging too. I would love to see a 100% full game of this with some of the levels more fine tuned for those of us less skilled.

Ran out of time to get the sound in there! Next time, or maybe down the line i'll get around to adding the music. I had it recorded and everything but couldn't get it to loop!
