Hi! Out of curiosity, what kind of projects are you looking to work on? e.g. long/short term, genre, jams/free/paid, etc...

Feel free to add me on Discord: Kotzwinkle

Hi! Any any interest in participating in a visual novel jam?

Oh no! I'll have to take a look at the warning logic. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the spawns needed to be telegraphed to the player better.

Thanks for playing! Yeah, a nice static screen between the intro and game with the control scheme would probably have been nice.

Thanks!

This was really well written. Once I caught on, I started to dread leaving the village each time. Awesome job!

Thanks for taking the time to play! Yeah, The Binding of Isaac was a big inspiration

Thanks for playing! Yeah, there definitely should be a tell/marker to telegraph to the player when an enemy is spawning

Really well done. I really loved the variety of weapons. It took me a bit, but I was finally able to make it to the moon.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I agree, a few different enemy types would definitely improve the experience.

Thanks for taking the time to play our game! Yeah, due to the palette, the cursor really tends to blend too much during gameplay.

This was really fun! For some reason I thought I was a stationary turret the first few rounds. Once I figure out that I can move and shotgun blast I was able to to get up to 1:05. The heretic was great foil to the strafing strategy and I was forced go straight back in order to kill them. Awesome job!

This was pretty challenging. It took me a bit to understand that you needed to replicate and invert the pattern presented. The three layer difficulty was really fun, because if a smaller shape ended up behind a larger shape, you had to hurry up and deduct what it's shape/color were based on the two visible shapes. Really well done!

We're really glad you enjoyed it! I agree, the artist did an awesome job!

Okay, this was a lot of fun! I was not ready for second stage, but was able to push through and finish. I like how technically it becomes easier over time as long as you're getting smaller, but realistically most runs tend to snowball into catastrophe. XD The final boss was really fun and it's design reminded me of the Old North Wind from Over the Garden Wall.

Wow! This is good. The narrative was beautifully written and oftentimes hits a little too close to home.

Thanks for taking the time to play! Yeah, there definitely should have been a custom cursor/reticle to help with visibility

Thanks for playing! The composer did an amazing job! The cat scene was extremely last minute, so we're glad it worked out XD

Also, I love how closely aligned the genre for our games ended up being!

This is really well done! The writing is awesome and I'm definitely a little jealous of a bunch of the details you implemented that I never even considered (enemy variations, telegraphing spawn points, death animations).

Thank you very much for playing our game and taking to the time to leave feedback! I agree, the writer did an amazing job! Also, The Binding of Isaac was definitely a big influence.

Wow, we really appreciate the feedback! A custom cursor was definitely needed since you can sometimes "lose" the standard cursor in the patterns. That's a great point about dodge. Yeah, the shotgun needs a little tinkering, I found it useful when circling/spreading the mob formation, but it definitely needs a little more oomph so that the card that loses it hurts more.

I didn't do too well with the secrets lol. I saw four total, but was only able to collect 3 before the end of the game.

This was really well done. I love how you're taking blind leaps of faith by the 3rd level.

This was a really fun interpretation of the theme. The puzzles were really clever. I had a lot of fun with it.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, we would have loved to have death animations and more enemy variation!

Much appreciated! We're pretty proud of that first scene

Thanks for playing! We were hoping to squeeze some monster variation in, but ran out of time XD

The level design on this is amazing! The mechanics were very unique and the puzzles were challenging, but fair.

The art style, mechanics, and writing for this are amazing. Awesome work! This feels extremely polished!

Awesome work! This felt really polished and I loved the atmosphere of the game.

This was pretty awesome! I love that you go around pummeling people with gifts
