Really tight and polished. Easy to understand and the lofi vibe fits perfectly.

Yeah I agree, as a jumping off point for something a bit more unique it was fun, but it'd be better to move the learnings over to something new. Really appreciate the input and the encouragement.

Haha yeah, I was trying to learn how to separate the state (data) of the game from the visual representation of it. This lets me run simulations on pure data (for AI, etc.), or maybe swap out the front end if I wanted to use a different renderer. Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for the feedback, and for actually playing a round! Incorporating deeper checks was out of scope for this demo, but I'd like if I said the temptation wasn't there lol.

Neat little puzzle game! Like others mentioned the movement could've been a little tighter, but the puzzles make it come together. Not too tricky, not too straightforward.

Really original take on the zero-G racing genre. Love how splitting and joining of the vehicles adds layers of gameplay and invites to some really clever level design. Great job!

Love the risk/reward balance, and the bosses were lots of fun too!

Really fun idea! Loved seeing the planets stick to my character and screwing up the controls. Would've been nice with juicier controls, and maybe some physics applied to the bodies that pulls on the player.

Love the style and presentation! Physics based gameplay is hella hard to tune and get right, especially in such a short amount of time. But the heart and personality is all there! Please bring this world and these characters in your next endeavor!

So snappy, and the music is hella tight too!

Absolutely love the vibe! Music is fantastic, dialogue has tons of personality, art is super cute.

Really into the slinging mechanic as well, but tapping WASD to kinda bump the ship made it a little hard to control.

Lovely entry!

Was blown away when the control panel popped up! Giving the player the ability to hack the game is a fantastic idea!

Thank you Zombie! If I did it again, I'd love to add cute, clickable details around the play area, and turn it into more of a diorama type beat. Cheers!

Thank you kindly!! When shrinking the photos to fit the play area, I realized that the defining features of each photo kinda disappeared into the clutter. And if I'd cropped them tighter, the actual roads would've went instead, and there'd be nothing to indicate direction lol.

Really happy you're digging the concept and found it a bit more intimate than Google Street View! Might turn this into a nice family game some day :)

Thanks Genes, happy you got to see part of the city :D

While taking the photos, I realized most of them are gonna end up vertical (viewing along the length of the street, not from the side) and looking kinda samey.. so planning out how to clearly visualize these branching paths while keeping the real life connections (and also not spamming the user with noisy street corners) would've taken a bit more planning from my side.

If I were to do it again, I'd find simpler locations that are easier to read and connect visually.

Thanks for the feedback!!

Glad you got to experience just a tiiiiny part of it! Thanks for taking the time to play and comment :)
