THE THEME IS "YOU ARE YOUR OWN ENEMY!"

Hello everyone!

Extra Life Edmonton is hosting a livestream gaming marathon this weekend (October 25-26) to raise money for the Stollery Children's Hospital and they're planning on running a game jam simultaneously!

They have a local venue for the event where you can participate in the game jam and stream if you are located in Edmonton, AB. But if you are not local, you can still participate as long as you can livestream your progress! They will have a website where all the streams will be embedded, including the streams of the non-local game jammers, and a single chat channel for watchers of all the gameplay and game jam streams to chat in one place.

• The event will begin at 2PM MDT (4PM EST) on October 25th and will go on for 24 hours.
• The event will take place at the Northlands' Edmonton Expo Centre in Hall H.
• Space, internet, and power will provided, but you have to bring your own computers and monitors. Bringing a powerbar as well is recommended.
• There will be food and beverages (if you are participating from the local venue).
• Participation is free but, of course, you should do your best to raise awareness and money.
• The theme will be announced at the beginning of the game jam.
