Streamed this game tonight, sorry it was at the end and was getting a bit tired. But love the presentation of this one. The color switching to b/w, the blood splatter and the archer AI.

I  enjoyed the music, sound effects and visual style. Slicing the enemies was fun. The blood splatter was a nice touch but at first I thought this was in place of a health meter e.g. more blood is less health remaining.

Soooo... this is a hack and slash game. You have simple controls. But you gotta use it in tandem with a mouse, which I'm not exactly adjusted to nor am I a huge fan of these kinds of double mouse/keyboard input requirement.

The arrow spam stunlocked me, I wasn't exactly been given a good indicator of when my health was down. The arena design, while consistent and looks nice, felt like some of the corners show its gaps when looking at it critically.

I do like the menu screen music and at least pixel art wise, it looks crisp and clean. The animations felt fluid. It didn't work on all the background art but considering the time constraints, it can't be helped.

Tried one round, pretty much had little compulsion to continue since I'm unsure if there is a story behind beating it or if its an endless run. And also this type of gameplay isn't up to my interest. So I apologize for the brevity and honesty in my gameplay experience.

That was really cool ! Visuals are nice and coding is well done :) The Black and white part of the game when you start is very stylish and cute

If it's your first jam project, it's quite an achievment. I think it would be nice if you would add some UI. You can spawn new types of enemies as you beat every wave or stuff like that to add variety to the gameplay

Really liked the visuals in this especially, the monochromatic look when you went into battle and all the transitions. A very charming game!

I liked the experimental style you went for and it was fun rolling around hunting those damn archers.

Cool little game! I love the aesthetics with the swap into black and white. I had some trouble with the trees since you can't really see the enemies behind, but they can still see you. I wish the difficulty curve was more gradual but in the end I managed to defeat two dozen mongolians!
