Thanks for playing :)

I really enjoyied your game, it is really fun! Also the aesthetics is really cool, i really liked the UI and the pixel art in general, and the puzzle-idea is a lot different from all the other games in the jam (including mine lol)!
Good Job!!
Also if you want i would really appreciate if you would play and rate my game too

Enjoyable memory game with a nice aesthetic and pleasant music and sound. You really have to pay attention to how the questions are worded. Reminded me of some certification exams I've taken, LOL! Great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the review!

Haha, I'm sorry that it reminded you of exams :P

Nice game although it made me think about my memory...

Developer

Thanks for playing! I hope you're not bothered too much :P

This was fun to play and I liked the overall vibe with the music and pixel art - pretty relaxing! The memory testing mechanic was a little different to what I expected which was cool.

I liked this! I am usually terrible at memory games, so I didn’t do too well, but I enjoyed it. I appreciated the variable animations on each object; that touch gave your game an extra shine of polish. Good stuff!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the review! I‘m glad you got some enjoyment out of it :)

Oh god... my worst skill being tested. Despite forcing me to remember information for longer than 2 seconds this game was very relaxing and had really great feel. I loved the satisfying squishiness of everything, that was a fantastic detail. Great work!

Developer

:D Thanks for playing! I‘m glad you got some enjoyment out of this despite the memorization part!

I like the simple user interface and the graphics. There was a good amount of unique sprites to keep things varied and challenging as you progress, yet the sprites have a relatively simple design that it's not too distracting when attempting to memorize. The music is fairly ambient and not too distracting, though having an option to lower the volume or mute the music would be nice to have for focusing purposes.

I like the endless mode-type gameplay, as that encourages practicing your memorisation skills in order to reach the more difficult sections. The gradual  increase in the quantity and types of sprites was a good choice. I think having a secondary mode where it's more test-based would complement the endless mode. For example, there are a set number of configurations and questions (though the question content and sprites used can still be randomised), and the mode only ends and gives a final score once the list of configurations and questions are exhausted instead . Such a mode would give players a chance to attempt at the harder configurations.

A challenging brain-training game.

P.s. I only got up to 12 - I should not have attempted this before going to bed!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing and the helpful feedback!

A very good idea with a complementing "level based" approach with a score to compete against in shorter bursts, I like it!

I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of it, I hope you can rest well :D 12 is already a quite respectable score for the current difficulty curve! :)

Great little game, I got up to 21. This was fun! Liked your minimalist style and your UI was easy to get around with too.

Good job getting a score of 21!

Simple, but effective. I think this is a great example of coming up with something accomplishable and just making it well. (Instead of, you know, making a bloated, buggy, over-scoped mess that no one would bother to play all the way through anyway. But none of us ever do that, right?)

Don't know that I totally get how the theme comes through, besides maybe just the game itself being 2D. But honestly, I couldn't care less. This was just good fun!

I don't know what you're talking about, no human being would be capable of something like that  cough cough

Jokes aside, thanks for the praise, I'm glad the game was percepted as something well, despite me having all kinds of ideas and then just cutting them off and ending up with something very simple :P

Ah yeah, I can see that.. :P my idea was also that the two choices you get (correct/wrong) would be part of the theme... but it's not really two dimensions, only one xD DON'T LOOK TO CLOSELY

Thanks again for taking the time :)

6 is about as good a score as I am going to get. it gets challenging fast.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Good effort! It does get rather difficult with more items..

Cool game, it was pretty fun to play since I personally love memory games, I got 18 points :). But I feel like this could've done with some more depth, this game did seem like it had a lot of polish though.

I personally felt like the variety of questions were lacking a little if you wanted something specific

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Nice, you got quite a score! :D

I agree, the questions are very minimalistic right now, basically just some amount/"exists" comparisons, which all feel very same-y..
