You actually can, but it'll have some visual bugs along the borders of the screen. 1. Download Python from https://www.python.org/downloads/ 2. Open up main.py from the game source files (the download that says SOURCE) in a text editor and remove line 18.
3. Run it by right clicking on it and pressing Python Launcher.

Its happening to me too. I wish there was a way to fix it but the only way is adding the resolution setting. Which we cant do.

Some computers have built-in Unzipping, If you can't do that, try something like 7-Zip or WinRar to extract all of it.
