I hade 5 batteries, but could not use them. I saw the hidden thing in the "illusion room" and was trying to use the flashlight. It ran out, and could not change the batteries. Other than that, it was a fun title to play.
Is the glitch room on purpose? Nice game, simple mechanics lend itself well for a game jam. The slower pace probably makes it even playable on a real Nokia 3310! Good job.

The battery will automatically fill your flashlight by 50 unit after collect.
