If you want to play with out mixed reality you jut delete the dll for mixed reality named "WindowsMRXRSDK.dll" in the plugins folder in the _Data folder. Hope this helps!!!
go into folder and right click hit extract all then when done go into the folder and double click the one that says the name and with the picture then boom, you can even make it a short cut

if you are referring to the apk thing itself, then no it isn't. that's why im asking if anybody here is able to do it because i don't know how to do it myself and i don't trust the exe to apk apps out there. if you are referring to running the apk without a link cable, then i think it should be (emphasis on the word should). if i can get it as an apk, then ill try to use google drive to upload it to the internet. then using the built in web browser on the quest, i will download it to my quest from drive.

yeah but the Quest (which Dani used in the video) uses APK files to sideload games, making it able to play without the wire. If you use APK files, it loads the game directly into the headset, instead of showing whats happening on the computer.

There are several different kinds of devices that run Android, from smart TVs, to thermostats, to refrigerators. Maybe if you had taken the time to do your research, you would have known that. Maybe then, you wouldn't have posted this irrelevant, nonsensical waste of time and energy.

ya- you are right, need a file explorer to launch the downloaded apk. trying to find a solution to that (probably won't find one, lol)
you tried loading the apk via sidequest (any usb cable that lets you connect quest to pc will work you dont need a fast one)
i mean without a cable since many of us dont have one. i noww know it really doesn't work like that
