Use the mouse cursor to pick your direction.

Mouse1 or W to accelerate in that direction.

Use the mouse wheel to Zoom in and out.

Use Q and E to pick planetary targets (or click on the arrows in the UI).

Hold and then release space (or right click - but this seems dodgy in a lot of browsers) to fire a projectile to defend yourself (or knock other planets down a peg or two).

Red orbital tracks (or target mass) mean you'll not be able to absorb the planet yet (and will have to come back), yellow is borderline (and may be worth checking in the target menu), green you can absorb at your leasure.

Planets via Godot Pixel Planet Generator

This was a lot of fun from start to finish, and many of my friends were able to suggest a lot of different ways to improve the game. I only wish I had the time to implement everything everyone came up with! Thank you all!

I actually had a lot of fun with this. Good job!

I really liked the concept of this game! It's pretty educational as well. I had trouble making progress past the first couple of planets but that might be me. I loved how reactive to the game situation the sprite's faces were lol.
