I absolutely love this game! Everything is incredibly well made. It's very rare to see games in jams with writing this good! A few of the nightmare challenges were brutal but I had to see all the dialogue and the gauntlet at the end felt great after having spent time mastering the mini-games' progressive difficulty levels. Thanks for making this wonderful little game!

Really enjoyable time trial game. The leaderboard with replay system is FANTASTIC and is very nice to have in games of this genre. I had a blast playing this (pun intended)!

Woah, this was really well made and pretty scary at times! I enjoyed the horror elements a lot. Even more impressive was the fact that all the visual assets were made from scratch; I can't imagine making a 3D game with that level of visual quality in that short a span of time. Great stuff!

Thanks for playing! Funny story - I actually made the red barrel art myself (although I did look at references); the fact that it looks THAT close enough to some other generic red barrel art is hilarious (doesn't speak highly for my art skills but I guess it works with the idea that red barrels are a cliche in gaming).

Thanks! :)

HOLY COW! Loved this - very impressive in scope (all the more so if this was your team's first game jam) and I'd be amazed if anyone nailed the theme as well as you did. Fun to play and had me smiling the whole time. Also, every game needs a fishing mini-game; +1 for that inclusion! :'D

Thanks a ton for playing! :)

Fun set of mini-games - I also liked how focused it was on the them of the jam! I did struggle to read through the explanatory text at the start of each mini-game fast enough and think it'd be nice if the text stayed up indefinitely with a button prompt to continue.

Thanks for playing! Good feedback - I probably should have added a threat that makes the lower half of the screen a bit more dangerous!

Fun game and a pretty unique concept! Loved the varied obstacles you put in there. I'd echo what a couple of other people said regarding being able to influence the jump left or right slightly while in the air - I think even a small amount of air control might make the jumping feel a bit smoother but it could have a negative impact on the challenge.

Thanks for playing! Also, thanks for the feedback on that - this was actually something I was considering doing but I ran out of time. I'd like to polish it up a bit after the jam and will add this to the list of things to work on!

Super fun to play and incredibly polished. Really like how you flipped a classic game concept on its head. The power up system was also fantastic - would love to see that system expanded upon and perhaps have randomized options available for each run!

Thanks for playing; glad you liked the movement mechanic!

Fun game that feels like it'd fit right in at an arcade; really polished and enjoyable to play!

Loved the interpretation of the theme and the fact that you made this with your family! They absolutely nailed the visual art and music! Really enjoyed my time with it.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed your time with it!

Awesome project; amazed that it's your first made with godot! I found the projectile shooting enemies to be a bit tough to deal with since they took out my health so quickly but I had a blast with it!

Thanks, glad you liked that goofy little interaction between the threats!

Thanks, that's definitely the vibe I was going for. Glad you enjoyed your time with it!

You absolutely NAILED the theme! On top of that, this was just a blast to play. While I had to do some quick thinking to figure out what some of the mini-games were asking of me, the little input tooltips were great guides and I thought they were a nice touch.

Really enjoyed your game - the level design was fantastic and the gameplay twists you added for some screens were really neat! I feel like the player/spike hitboxes should be adjusted to be a bit more forgiving and I also feel like the player shouldn't slide down the wall when trying to initiate a wall grab, but that might just be personal preference and those minor gripes didn't stop me from having a good time.

Wow, well done! I couldn't put this down. The mechanics are fun, the presentation (visual and audio) was really strong and gave the game a polished feel.

Thanks a ton for trying it out. Glad you enjoyed the movement mechanic!

Thanks for playing! :)

Thanks, glad you had a good time with it! I think introducing the player to the mechanics is something I will try to improve on in future projects; the feedback is much appreciated!

Thanks, yeah I was super happy with the background when I found it - the creator made a bunch more awesome free assets, be sure to check them out if you like their stuff! https://free-game-assets.itch.io/free-sky-with-clouds-background-pixel-art-set

Glad you had a good time with it, thanks for playing!

Ok, this was hilarious and good fun. You nailed the goofy GTA style ragdoll physics!

Fantastic little puzzle game. The levels were well designed and the puzzle mechanics were both fun to work with and made sense with the theme.

Really impressive! Great art and fun tactical card gameplay. Really enjoyed encountering the upgrade path choices; those kept me on my toes.

Fun little card/tower defense style game! I liked the animations quite a bit and the background music was great!

Fun game, I like the random upgrade idea; it was fun to see what I got in the couple of runs I played!

Amazing. I really love how you introduce the gameplay mechanics to the player in a natural way at the start of the game and give them a moment to get familiar prior to things really kicking off. The presentation in general is top notch!

This project is shaping up nicely! The game is pretty impressive in scope and the recent update made everything feel a lot smoother. The additional visual changes add a lot in my opinion as well.

Bah! I really enjoyed this despite being awful at these types of games! The game is nicely polished and fits the theme really well. I saw that your team might continue to work on it and will definitely check back in to play again if that is the case!

This is great! I feel like making a puzzle game for a jam (especially one of this length) takes a lot of guts and I'm honestly impressed by both the quantity and quality of the puzzles you were able to create. Well done, thoroughly enjoyed playing it!

Thanks for the feedback, Alexander! I will definitely look into adjusting the difficulty once the jam has concluded (I've already got a bunch of ideas regarding how I might address that).

I like the mobile idea - I'll play around with that and see if I can get it feeling good on that platform.

Hahahaha I'm super glad you enjoyed it - I'll definitely be trying to lower the difficulty once the jam concludes.

I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I think your high score is better than mine!

Hey TaliOS! :) Thanks for the feedback - I really enjoyed putting this one together so I'll be trying to address a number of things (difficulty and a bug in the web browser build that even further ups the difficulty are at the top of said list) once the jam has concluded. I really enjoyed the game you made for JamCraft5 and look forward to checking out your submission for this as well!

Hey Slick, thanks for playing and commenting! A lot of the critical feedback I've received has (very fairly) been concerned with the difficulty and I will definitely be attempting to address that in a number of different ways once the jam has concluded. I'm glad the concept resonated with you!
