THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING. We had an incredible amount of support. We spent a ton of time going over the entries and realized that there's so much more we can do, but for now we have to get some bundles out for the Spring Sale. You can find them here:

Have you ever wanted to join an itch.io Selects Bundle? For our upcoming 2024 Spring Sale, we're trying something new: Open submissions. We're using this jam page to collect projects from creators who are interested in including their work. Depending on the submissions, we'll curate a final bundle that can be purchased throughout the duration of our Spring Sale (March 13 to 21st).

Please read this entire page before submitting. Failure to do so will result in instant disqualification!

Since this is new for us, we don't exactly know what to expect. Therefore, we ask for your flexibility as we figure out the details. Traditionally, itch.io Selects bundles have comprised around 6 games for $10, with equal revenue shared among all participants. As we're now accepting open submissions, we may need to adjust this format slightly. To aid us in building the bundle, we're asking all participants to provide the "Maximum Discount" they are willing to accept with their submission. This will allow us to calculate a set of games that meet the requirements of all participants. (Please note, we will multiply this by your product's price to get the desired unit price). You can enter 100 if you are okay with any discount amount, but we will never offer your game for 100% off.

Depending on the number of submissions, the quality of the submissions, and the maximum discounts developers provide, we will attempt to assemble an exceptional bundle. We will aim for a price range of around $10 to $20.

Keep in mind, this submission process is solely to submit your game for consideration in the bundle, and there is no guarantee that any particular game will be included. We'll be examining the metrics of submissions to help us determine what might be a good fit, considering factors such as sales history and on-site rating. If you haven't already, encourage your audience to rate your game if you want us to notice your project.

Here are the submission guidelines:

  • Your page must be a paid product with a minimum price above zero. If it is not, you will be disqualified.
  • No Adult Content.
  • Any content type is accepted, but we are primarily looking for Games. If we receive many submissions for other content types, like assets, tabletop, etc., then we may consider creating additional bundles. We don't intend to mix content types.
  • If you submit a game to this jam, you consent to participate in the bundle for the duration of the promotion. Please ensure that you are okay with having your game offered at a discount for the duration of our Spring Sale.
    • We cannot guarantee that any submission will be part of the bundle. We reserve the right to curate the final bundle and decide who can participate.
  • Your account must be eligible for the itch.io Payouts system. In order to do revenue sharing for co-op bundles, you must be able to receive payouts from itch.io, which includes providing tax information and setting up a payout destination in your dashboard. Co-op bundles do not support direct payments. Do not submit your project unless you are able and willing to receive a payout from itch.io.
  • Your project must contain files uploaded directly to your itch.io page. No "External file" pages allowed. We guarantee that all buyers will have direct access to files and can't do that with external files.
  • You may submit multiple projects from the same account, but we will likely only pick at most one project from each account.

We expect to create at least one bundle, with the conditions:

  • Content: 5+ projects
  • Price: At least $10
  • Revenue share: Every participant will receive an equal revenue share (We will not apply fractional revenue shares based on the product price of your project)
  • Duration: March 13 to 21st, during the itch.io Spring Sale

If all of this sounds good to you, then click the submit button and add your game

This jam is now over. It ran from 2024-03-04T08:00:00Z to 2024-03-12T18:00:00Z.
