With the opening of the "Ready to Play" exhibit at the Museum of Industry, let's celebrate with a game jam! The exhibit introduces the birth, evolution, and contributions of the video game industry in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada.

The theme of this game jam is "Industry." All types of games are accepted. Everyone is invited to participate, no matter if you are in Nova Scotia or elsewhere.

There are many industries in Nova Scotia past and present you could base a game on, some examples:

• Fishing
• Mining (coal, salt)
• Manufacturing
• Shipbuilding
• Steel
• Forestry
  
• Farming
• Creatives (Music, TV, Movies, Video Games)
  and many more!

The jam will run until the exhibit closes on June 23rd, 2024. 

And please visit the Museum of Industry in Stellarton, Nova Scotia to see the "Ready to Play" exhibit as well as the other exhibits to learn more about the industrial history of the province.
