SailingOcelot rated Case Rooms: Enigma - Demo

A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

This demo makes me very excited for future projects by you, Katie :) I've said it a lot and I'll say it again - I feel that mystery games are the most difficult to write for! I think the story idea and concept is fab and look forward to see what you do with it.

I enjoyed the overall story and I liked the coloured text for the thoughts. The body language is very distinct and clear and I liked how Enigma turns to who its speaking to.

I would suggest drawing eye lids on the characters to make them look less like they are staring. With the hair, I would try to draw it so on the sides it doesn't match the shape of the head.

I know there is such limited time with these things, therefore I was very impressed with your speaking effects. If there was more time, sound effects such as banging on the door might be good. I felt that this demo had enough content to showcase point and click, an interesting story and an actual case to work out that made me feel a bit like a detective :) Nice work!

Wish you all the best,

Sailing Ocelot
