This game was hilarious! This was really fun to play!

Fun game! I thought the concept was quirky and hilarious. Mechanics were a bit too sensitive, but otherwise great game!

Cool game! The vehicle feels great to drive. It is a little wobbly feeling but I think that's intentional and I thought it felt good to drive. The baby idea is funny. I like the sound track choices for the most most part. They are appropriately enthusiastic for the fun silly vibe you're going for.  Nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for checking it out and leaving such great feedback!

Submitted

Incredibly hard to control. I'll just yeet the baby lol.

Developer

Were you using mouse and keyboard?

Submitted(+1)

Yeah

Developer(+1)

Makes sense, the game was designed around the use of a gamepad/controller. I just added mouse/keyboard last minute and didn't get a chance to tweak the sensitivity.

Submitted(+1)

Great job,But i think you should change the controls

Developer(+1)

Thank you! And did you use mouse and keyboard? The game was originally designed around a gamepad, and mouse/keyboard controls were added last minute lol

Submitted(+1)

Great work on your game! The mouse controls were definitely funky and I never got used to them, but the game physics worked great and it was fun to play.

Developer

Thank you for trying it! I'm happy to hear about the physics, I was concerned that using floatier hoverboard mechanics would cause people to be upset about lack of control. And yeah, the muse controls definitely needed more time in the oven. They were literally added in the hour before I uploaded the game. (originally was designed for gamepad only)

Submitted(+1)

That was honestly a really fun and funny play. The only thing that annoyed me was the mouse sensitivity and the fact that it was inverted! Why is it inverted! xD

I didn't stop the baby once until the round with the ramps and big moving balls lol, I kept getting hit by the balls.

I do like the feel of the cart/car you drive the baby in felt forgiving and controllable.

Great game overall.

P.S. love the anime speed up effect xD

Developer

Thank you! And I am never sure of what people enjoy for camera control, which is why I added an option in the settings on the main menu to change inverted off or on for x and y axis!

That map was one of my favorites to make because of the simplicity of the mechanics, but a great challenge that came with it!

And for the anime speed  lines, it was a surprisingly simple effect to make. All I did was use a particle emitter, with custom sprite (essentially a long triangle/spike) and I had the amount of emission change based on the players velocity.

Submitted

I didn't see that option, that's my bad xD

My mistake and good on you for adding that option.

Submitted(+1)

Sadly I have no Controller maybe the camera ist better without the mouse. The Idea is good but needs a bit polish. Maybe you keep working?

Developer

Hey, I still appreciate you giving the game a try even knowing the mouse/keyboard controls are really rough. Thanks for checking it out!

Submitted(+1)

Quirky game! The concept is unique, however the controls feel a bit clunky - the camera is inversed traditional, the general movement feels very 'floaty' and not snappy.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback!

There are options in the main menu that allow you to invert the x or y axis of the camera controls. And for the floaty controls, that's what I was going for being that it was a hover vehicle. But I can understand how that could be frustrating for players.

Submitted (1 edit)

Ah sorry I missed the settings, mostly that was personal preference as I know a fair few people do play with inverted controls.

Submitted(+1)

Fun game, love the premise. but camera movement is a bit too sensitive. good work though.

Developer

Thank you!  Did you play with mouse/keyboard or a controller? I'm assuming mouse and keyboard, but if you were using a controller,  that would be interesting to find out.  Definitely need a sensitivity slider

Submitted

I was playing mouse and keyboard

Submitted(+1)

funny idea. wacky controls, but the camera is a bit too sensitive - maybe could be fixed. cool idea. nice work

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah the camera is really sensitive with mouse control (was designed around controller input).  Do you mind elaborating on wacky controls? Just so I have a better understanding of what you mean by it.

Submitted

ohh yeah i know what you mean its kinda unclear my bad LOL

wacky as in good, felt like a very silly game.

sorry about that

super cool though its honestly a good game i was really tired last night, as i was reading my own review i confused myself LMAO

Submitted(+1)

Lmao silly idea and take on the theme. i lost my child so many times i wasnt very good. But nice submission and well done also good use of the baby selector and unlocking new babies lol

Developer

I really appreciate the comment! I hope the camera didn't cause you too many problems

Submitted(+1)

Super fun game, really enjoyed controlling the vehicle. Also enjoyed the fact that you can unlock new babies not to YEET.

Fuck level 5 btw, hard af

Developer(+1)

Lol level 5 and 6 were only tested in sections as it was being made.  I didn't even try to play test all the way through them until after I built/submitted it xD But I understand the pain of trying to beat them. Thanks for checking it out and for the ffedback

A brilliant concept with pretty fun, simple gameplay, but it's pretty difficult just to keep the ambulance from falling off each course, let alone keep the baby "connected" inside of it.
Also, the sound effects can get annoying really quickly, but the Sound slider in the Options menu only adjusts noises from the baby, not the ambulance.

Developer

Thanks for checking it out.  Yeah mouse/keyboard controls definitely were not fully implemented which has been making it difficult for a lot of people to play. I mainly focused on the controller/gamepad input. And good catch, I must of have missed referencing all the audio sources in my sfx manager.

As a first-time father of a 7-month-old, you sir, are a monster.

10/10, would yeet again.

Whoever said the camera man never dies has never played this game. Thank goodness my mouse has 5 sensitivities, because even on the lowest, the camera was messing me up.

Developer

First off, congrats on the 7 month-old. Time sure does fly by. I have a 9 year old myself.  And the keyboard/mouse control definitely was a regrettable addition. I added it last minute because I only had controller support until the last day. Thanks for the comment though, gave me a good chuckle!

Nice submission - I love when games take a silly and fun twist on things. I think that you managed to keep a quite concise theme throughout the game in terms of colors, assets, and so on. The music was a little out of place but it was good music so it had that going.

I was able to keep a pretty steady camera if I was on full screen and did not touch the mouse.

If you have the time, please consider rating our game as well - thanks!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. And totally agree about the music. It was just commercial free use items I had downloaded already and shoved into this game lol The mouse was for sure the low point of this game. Really need more time to correctly implement it, but oh well! And Yeah, I have your game on my list of to play. I will be streaming it too.

I had hard time controling that camera. As a result, the baby had a really hard time!

Not sure if it's just the camera tho xD

Developer

Here is a full run of the game. I used a controller for this gameplay footage.
