I really liked this, could see my self playing this for way too long lol. Very satisfying hiring all the workers, and hearing them hammer away. Very well made and fun take on a clicker game, good job!

This was a fun take on clickers! I thought the second Stargate was supposed to be at the south pole though!

My only real feedback is please make sure to always include an option to invert the mouse Y  axis. Otherwise it's very disorienting for those of us whose brains work that way!

Thank you, that is a good idea, I will definitely keep that in mind for my next game. I also have forgotten about a sensitivity slider, lol.

This could honestly be a fun tycoon game if you decided to develop this further, it played well and held my attention. Nice art as well and good to see Bee Lewis in the wild

It's a nice little clicker 3D game. Quite enjoyable.

Good evening,

First of all I have to say that I didn't download the game. So I don't know what exactly is different to the web version. I think that we can agree that the focus was more on the art than the gameplay which was rather limited.  I myself am a gameplay oriented person and therefore have less to say to the graphical side of things but I still have to say that I did like it. Especially the bottles next to the factory (but please don't read anything into that).

Developer

Good morning. :p I'll be honest and say that I am also actually more of a gameplay and a mechanics person myself. But I wanted to try some art stuffs, and I am relatively happy with how it turned out.

I agree with one of the other comments on here, this is quite addictive (I have played longer than I would like to admit), and of course with all of these games there is some polish and things that could be done. The only real things I would bring up is I am not sure how this fits the theme of surprise, I might have missed something though (unless it was the like upgrade system when you got happiness).

I also agree with another comment on here that I would probably have used the portal for something else, it said something about exploring (unless it is the lack of sleep making me imagine things) but then it is just another toy maker.

all in all it is pretty damn good.

Developer

Oh really, I feel like it fits the theme quite well. But yeah I agree with you that the portal should have done something cool, some 'present dimension' would have been awesome, I sadly just did not have the time.

Things I liked:

Truth be told I played this for a lot longer than I would care to admit. There is a natural addictiveness in watching numbers rise that you capture quite well here. Between that and the act of repeatedly abusing lazy elves I got to say it was actually really engaging.

Things that could be better:

I got to say after you unlock everything, the overlapping sounds gets to be quite a lot, especially considering it seems like it doesn't really matter where in the map you are so you are just constantly hearing hammering of toys happening all the time. In addition, it felt like a big let down that when I saved up enough to unlock the portal and even upgraded it a few times that all it ended up being was an additional toy maker. I feel like an opportunity was lost their to have that be your end game.

You have made probably the most addicting game made in a game jam yet,  definitely something to be happy about!

Developer

Thank you! :) Yeah I seem to have done something wrong with the audio, that is something that I definitely need to keep in mind next time, haha! Having the portal to do something else would have definitely been cool, I just did not have the time sadly.

10/10 would play again,

Very nice to have some old man elf bois making presents to sacrifice to the portal God.

Thank you for playing my game! Please note that I strongly recommend you download the executable. Please tell me what you think; feedback is always greatly appreciated.
