This might be just because I was playing on a 2K monitor, but the hitboxes never seemed to line up with any of the characters. The game would benefit greatly from a windowed mode. Otherwise, I really like the premise! Even though couldn't experience it first hand, it's very creative. I especially love a dynamic time mechanic in games like these. It also felt arbitrary who to pick since the anomaly could also share traits with others. A good mechanic might be to have everyone look nearly the same except for one feature, and put some form of distortion or movement in which confounds that, so the player is have to see through a barrier of sorts. I really wanna see what you do with this premise, well done!

Thanks for the feedback! Did you play the downloaded version? It had a bug I forgot to fix with the canvas but it’s fixed on the web version

I played the downloaded version, I'll try web.

Developer

Thanks, did the web version work for you?

it did! but still had some issues with gameplay since the anomaly isnt distinct enough

Cool idea! It was surprisingly difficult, I definitely got stumped at times

Developer

Thanks for playing! If I end up working more on the game the main thing I’m gonna add is a way to change the difficulty so far it was too easy or hard for everyone

Can you spot the impostor? :D Good idea, but sometimes it's super hard to tell, maybe a hint where to look at would be helpful. Overall - great job! I liked it!

Developer

Thats the main problem I had making the game most people say its either too hard or easy. That seems like a really cool idea to help with that. Thanks for playing!

Really nice idea, would have been great for Trijam #76: Imposters

I think you should reward the player with a point rather than 5 seconds on the timer because the game could go on forever (finding the anomaly takes around 5 seconds)

Not sure what score I got in the end but it felt like I played for a while :D

Thats a really good idea to give the player a point. I was trying to find a way to add a timer while trying to balance it but right now its either too hard or easy for most people adding points would have been way better. Thanks for playing it!
