Nice game.

Pros:

The graphics, sound and music, and gameplay are good.

The film grain makes the game look polished.

Cons:

I don't know about waves, so I could only beat level 1.

It would be nice if there was an effect where a radio is staticy and when you get the right curve. The radio is normal (Similar to comms task in Among Us when It is sabotaged).

Interesting game, I'm not much of a sound/music person, so the expressions were pretty new, however I fiddled around with the settings enough to complete. Very impressive idea, good job!

Really creative and educative!

Developer

Thanks for playing man, glad you liked it.. :)

Very cool idea, but it would be better to put some easier levels first and then some harder one. Overall it's pretty nice game :)

Developer

Really nice suggestion, I rushed with the difficulty adjustments due to time. Thanks for playing and reviewing the game. :)

Really Interesting puzzle ! I would love to see it in mobile with some easier levels first

Thank you  the originality

Thank you for playing and reviewing. Glad you liked it.

Super creative and original idea. It is challenging, but it's also physics so I understand. The game itself is very polished and easy to use (a cool tool for wave experimentation). Cool!

Developer

Yeah you are right about the physics part, superposition of waves it a bit difficult to understand without a tutorial. About the wave experimentation there is actually an instrument called Waveform Generator that generates all these complex waves. I took some inspiration from that. :)

Thanks for playing the game and reviewing it.

Ah this is a really awesome idea!  These feels like it has teaching value too!  It would be neat if when it matched; you had a little animation that played or some visual to allow the match to sink in a bit; one level I beat unintentionally and was surprised I got it.

I really like this nice work!

Developer

Yes you are correct, I tried adding a matching indicator which shows the degree of similarity between the waves but it wasn’t working as intended. And yeah the level part was a bit rushed, it didn’t gave an indication as to whether you have completed it or not.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing the game.. :)

If ya get the matching working later I'd love to play around with it more.  If it generated pseudorandom waves to try and match I could see this as a really useful tool for developing intuition on combining waves.

Really liked this one  :)

omg it took me 15 minutes XDD
cool idea, but just like SoggyKiwi said, it's way too hard, a good tutorial and slower difficulty curve should help

Developer

Yeah you are right a tutorial would have helped a lot + I rushed with the levels. Will remember these in future games.

Thanks for playing and for reviewing. Really appreciated :)

I like this concept but I feel like you need to gameify it a bit more. It's a fun challenge for someone that understands wave interference but I think the average player would feel like it's a case of trial and error, especially without a tutorial introducing the core concepts of interference.

Developer

Firstly thanks for playing the game and for giving feedback. Really appreciated.

You are spot on with the feedback. The core idea of game is difficult to understand without a tutorial. I will definitely add a tutorial and polish it a bit more in post jam version.

Again, thanks for playing and reviewing. :)
