I have given your game a play and I found the concept entertaining, the use of moving the player works well and depositing certain types of traps with a matching colour to destroy the blocks following you is a simple method but works well, while the game is simple it did have some minor issues as a game itself.  There was no main menu to have buttons such as a start or quit method.  No music or other sounds did hinder it a bit more, this should be added to break the silence.

I found the cubes following me had some minor AI issues, it seems because they are cube shaped they got stuck behind the larger cubes and would not come after me unless they had a clear line of sight.  However once they did come after me they moved very well and animated as cubes would.

You have no documentation for me to view so I could not see how the game was developed, this should be added in the future.

    Summary

Although the game did have some details missing I felt as a concept this was a good start, with more time into development and more assets added this would be a very entertaining and complete game.  There is certainly room for improvement but then again there always will be in game development.  As a YouTuber and game developer myself we consider it a pleasure to try your games and I am pleased to have had the opportunity to try your game.

    Thank you.

  • Really sorry but I've ran out of time to write a full review.

The game is a nice little demo with an interesting theme and core mechanic.

    • The colour controls are a little fiddly.
    • I'm not convinced about the colour mechanic being the best accompaniment to the traps mechanic but if it is important to the design I would try starting with one colour and adding more colours more slowly.
    • Remember players haven't played this game as much as you and wont be as good as you.
    • Try to test the game on real humans, and learning to play is quite a fun activity so give the player time to adjust to new ideas.
    • Would be good to see the visual style developed into something that fits the theme.

    Nice little idea.

  • Controls are a bit fiddly & frustrating.  The motion of you is quite rigid while the motion of the cubes can be a bit erratic.  However it's a good start just need to develop the key areas further, including the game design.
