When playing your game I was very pleased with how this is laid out, the game interacts with the player very well giving limitations to the weapon I am using and the tutorial guide was clear and easy to understand.  Your UI setup is simple and clear as well as your choice of Main Manu setup.  You did a pretty good job with the sounds used in your game too, the music is at a good volume so it does not dominate the sounds of the gun.  While these are very good points I did feel the environment was a little basic, everything was a standard grey and it felt a bit more detail on terms of environment assets would have given the game a bit more extra kick to make it feel more dangerous.  The map certainly helps to understand where about I am going, this is a nice touch that a bigger game like this needs.

You have your documentation files however they are not organised, everything should be kept in one file and organised accordingly as it was a little hard keeping track with each file and sorting it out in order.  I did think that your documentation on your stages of construction could have gone in more detail given the more complexity of your game and also screenshots showing your stages of construction.

    Summary

There is certainly room for improvement but then again there always will be in game development.  As a YouTuber and game developer myself we consider it a pleasure to try your games and I am pleased to have had the opportunity to try your game.

    Thank you.

  • Really sorry, but I've run out of time to write full reviews.

Game is good, fun BUT difficult:

    • Tutorial button doesn't work.
    • Once i figured out the throwing disc I didn't need the gun until the boss. The disc is fun. Id consider ditching the gun and focus on making the most out of the throwing disk mechanic.
    • Shame there were not check points in the game. i died a lot and went back to the start.
    • Shame you haven't developed the visual style a bit more.
  • Nice idea, good core-mechanic.  Needs expanding from adding abilities to improvement of motion of character (isn't fluid enough, too rigid).
