Very cool game! The otter design and animation is really good. The grass is impressive too.
The otters seeing you as their god is an interesting take on the theme. I really like it.
The game was fun to play as well. I wanted to destroy the non-believers and take over the entire region haha. I think there were some AI issues though. After the first attack my otters would run off and stand in the corner.
This feels like the start of what could be a really amazing project!

DARK WORLDHey! Thank you a lot! In game tutorial definitely first thing that missing. About theme matching we have a plan to connect villages with water by creating rivers, but we don’t have enough time to make it work the way we planned it, so we cut this feature. Any way, we already starting to developing a full game, so it’s really motivating that you too see potential for a full game)
Nice game! it can be pretty engaging once you learn what everything does (which I only knew after reading the store page). Wish I could've zoomed out a little more and that there was a little more to do, but for a game jam it's pretty impressive with what's there already. Really liked the 3D assets. Great job!

DARK WORLDOtter's are my favourite animal! Loved the model, did you make it? This game has a lot of potential, the visuals are really nice and the grass effect is well made. I was a little unsure of what I was supposed to do to be honest, but in terms of art and visuals it's really nice. Good job!

Dark ConnectionHi! Thank you for playing our game! Unfortunately, not all aspects that the player needs to know about are displayed in the "How to play" menu. Also, the complexity of the game is quite high, we didn't have time to test it and fix it. In any case, after the jam is over, we will upload a ready-made build with fixes! We will also update the itch page in the near future, where we will add a more detailed description of the gameplay!

The red otters had no chance against my well fed otters.
Guess with more time it would be a good idea for a game - like more options to build and settle the otters. Or equip them with strong equipment!

Lifeline: Emergency ResponseThis is a really pretty game. Impressive systems and 3d work. I really like the grass generation, it looks really cool the way it spawns in. I think my only issue with the game is the onboarding, my lazy brain no likey wall of text explanation :P, the how to play page felt maybe a bit slapped on at the end? I did read through it, but I skim read it.. and wasn't entirely sure what was going on while playing, there wasn't too much feedback to suggest I was doing the right / wrong thing. That said, I managed to defeat the otters from the other village though, so that's something :). I quite enjoyed just watching the otters wander around though, the path effect through the grass looks really cool. The 3d modes too are really nice, nicely animated, very nice visually and audibly, great work!
(btw I really like the Rotation on 17 logo)

HandshakesThis game has a good strategy elements. Its rare to see an strategy game in Jams. You did a good job. Maybe you can add some tutorial to explain how game works (most of players not reading how to play(me included xd))

Data Courier"tribe of harmless otter" what a lie. I thoroughly enjoyed being water god and leading my otter army to annihilate the pesky fire otters. Never knew I needed an otter destruction force so much in my life before today. A map would greatly help to wreck havoc more efficiently though. Great game!

Shadow SplitMaybe it's something on my end, but all the otters and objects appear black for some reason, while only the ground and grass are colourful. Probably because of that, I could not quite figure out what to do, even though the game explanation is quite detailed. Enemy otters came over and captured my village in no time. The music and design seem lovely!

Station 404I am glad you managed to fix it! I tried the new version and it's definitely much more fun and enjoyable now. I really like the art and the direction of the game. It's very chill to develop your village with nice little rains but challenging at the same time to go and capture other villages while still making new otters! The only thing I would suggest is that instructions probably need to be just a bit more clear to make the game a bit more accessible. Well done!
