It was okay I guess. Not much fun.

It was refreshing to play a game about exploration, there was very few games I have seen in the jam focused on that. While you had exploration, it wasn't mindless exploration either, you had an objective and a companion to guide you, and that helped a lot.

I think having things like the jump button and being able to stay on sides of mountains was super helpful, because it made traversal a lot easier and less punishing that it could have been. It sacrifices some realism, but I think the tradeoff for gameplay vs realism is worth it.

I would have liked there to be some more visible tangible projectiles coming out of your gun whenever you shot it.

I ran into a bug whilst climbing the fourth mountain / tower where the action music started playing, so I expected to see enemies, but didn't see any, then the game said connection lost and started me over. Other than this, I didn't have any bugs. I enjoyed my time with the game.

I think you could also benefit from some screen shake when enemies explode, to go along with the kaboom particle effect and sound effect. This is how I do screenshake in Unity: https://imgur.com/a/rWEMD0U

Cool idea with a nice lil' FPS!

I was a bit confused about what to do with the objectives so maybe you can make the targets on the towers a bit more obvious.

The narration / story was pretty funny, good job!

The concept was good, story was interesting, fits the theme and is fun to play.

thanks to everyone who played the game!

just to make it clear- the graphics that were not made by me are from the unity sample asset pack.

Aside from some of the models, all of the graphics,  music, and code in the game were made by me and my partner. everything is 100% original!

Solid FPS - but not very innovative. The connection to the theme was through loose narrative. The environment and enemy appearance was great. I got stuck in the level on the way to the last tower. Some captured footage while I was talking to others on Discord:

As seen in the comments here the comtrols were a few times stiff. But a fun FPS! Damn you robots! great job!

what a fun experience!

A simple FPS but fun nonetheless. Never trust the robots! Controls can be a bit wonky from time to time but that does not ruin the fun at all.

The shooting part of the game does feel very generic, but the environment itself is quite beautiful and captivating in a way. The pyramid-like mountains remind me of structures from the Halo series if I remember correctly, but these are natural instead of metallic, which makes it seem like they were the result of terraforming or something. Could make for some interesting lore.

Pretty basic set of controls but turned out to be kind of fun. I figured out I could jump off a mountain, onto the tress below, then jump across the trees all while being chased by robots. The feels like it could be a pretty fun. Open-world, but with doom style arcade FPS mechanics.

Beautiful, but sounds too much like a sample FPS game. It lack of unique mechanic related to connection. Nice job anyway.
