  • Wow. This was really something. We were joking before we played that the mechanic would be taking your house for a walk. And it was! I really like the originality and theme behind this game. Graphics and animation were enjoyable, as was the audio (I appreciate the voice acting!) The enemy designs and narrative was creative and overall pretty engaging. What I would say is that the difficulty was way too hard for what I'd expect in this kind of jam game, and is definitely going to put off certain players. I think maybe if the buttons were the size of the entire walls, and the room was a little smaller / player a little larger, this would have been a lot easier to manage. I also would have appreciated some code to stop certain enemies from appearing at the exact same time, as taking damage was sometimes inevitable. Thanks for the entry, it was a lot of fun to play on stream.

This game was super unique! I loved the idea behind it. It was the perfect amount of zaniness! There was definitely a high skill cap as others have mentioned, but it was still very fun. As other's have mentioned perhaps increasing the size of the buttons or decreasing how much you have to jump to activate each button would definitely help to curb some of the skill required to get far into the game. Overall great game though very unique!

This game is extremely creative and I love how the machine's movement is based on your movement in a tiny box. The music, the setting, and the wackiness of this game make it even more enjoyable. I believe the skill cap is rather high, however, so I suggest either decreasing enemy movement speeds, or make the red/blue/movement buttons wider so you don't have to be as precise when in situations where you have multiple monsters attacking you. This game is super addicting and I cannot wait to see what features may be added in the future.!

This one's incredibly charming! The theme of "One Room" is demonstrated in its most creative expression I've seen yet!

I think from a balance perspective, you could potentially lower the move-speed of some enemies to allow a bit more time reacting to them, or widen the buttons to ensure that quick reactions won't miss as much. I found myself one pixel off the jump sometimes, and that's all it takes to end my stridin'.

That said, the aesthetic, both audio and visual, are very well realized, and the voice acting adds a layer of polish as well.

Yee-haw!

this is a very creative and funny game, all the wild west environment and at the same time with a room robot, and a very fun game.

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it

What a cool take on the theme! Using your space of control to control a larger entity is really rad. A lot of times it feels really clunky right now, maybe if the controls were easier to get to, that issue could be remedied? Otherwise, really want to see what else you could do with this sort of game, and I'll definitely be on the lookout for future updates!

Developer

Thank you! I definitely plan on updating the controls a bit, plus I'd like to fix the janky walking animation and maybe add in the final boss

Great idea for the theme! Dashing into the buttons felt a bit tough at first. Might be cool if the robot moved automatically and you just had to focus on hitting the buttons to attack/jump. Really liked the music as well!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you like the music, it is 100% burned into my brain after listening to it so many times while testing lol

This was a lot of fun! At first it seems very hard, but it gets a bit easier as it goes on! The gameplay mechanic is very creative, awesome take on the theme! Ps : your voice as the bad guy was super neat hahah

Developer

Thanks! It was recorded in 1 take at ~3:30am so I'm glad it worked out in the final build!

This gameplay is super original. Though a bit clunky, there's so much potential in the ideas. The graphics are cute and the music is really good.

Developer

Thank you! At some point I'd like to go in and just 20% more polish and maybe the ability to rebind controls to make it more comfortable to different people
