Nice game! I liked how much story there was to it and the difficulty of trying to solve the case, the music fit along with the game very nicely and I quite liked the style as well. Overall I think you guys did a great job.

I really enjoyed the observation and note taking aspect, I think the colliders for some of the pieces of evidence may have been off for me because I had to wiggle my mouse away from it sometimes to find the clickable. Overall was fun though, played it all the way through :D

Very interesting detective game. I like the combination of 2d and 3d and using the 3d scenes to investigate objects. Even after 20 minutes or longer I was not able to solve the murder puzzle. I guess its something with the altars but didn’t get the hang out of it.

The audio fits the game pretty well, for the visuals they worked, but the 3d assets don’t fit to the pixel art. maybe using pixel art 3d assets. Using altars was very satisfying with visuals and audio.

For me clicking on objects was not clear first, I tried to draw all time the stuff and was wondering that I cannot submit, until I got the hint from Oreztov to click on the item spots. I also ran into an issue with 4k screen that the UI is messed up, but it was still playable sort of. later i tried with low res on my screen then it worked just fine.

Beside that great entry and good team effort!

Fantastic entry and interesting take on the theme! I was hooked from the moment I was placed in the detective mode and I was determined to figure out the mystery - and I did! I really loved the added notepad and the clues system (the drawing feature was a nice touch), and I definitely see the inspiration from L.A Noire which is great (I love that game!).

It was a bit easy to get lost, but it wasn't so bad because the movement speed was good and there wasn't too much to explore (which is a good thing, otherwise it could be a bit confusing / stale).

Other than that, the graphics are cool but there's definitely room for improvement in the environment and the chat ui, and the music track could be longer.

Very cool!

Took me some time to solve the murder, great job with the red herrings and clues being spread out like that, giving you complete picture and more details on the story.

Impressive work with the 2d and 3d art assets, music and the programming - there are many systems there working together and I didn't encounter any bugs - great job everyone!

Nice game, having 3d models that you can rotate to find clues is impressive, also not a puzzle game where you have to do something that doesnt make sense and the npcs  dialogue helped to solve the murder. Good job !

Hey, I'm happy you appreciated those aspects!  All my years of complaining about the recent ABSENCE of  (Good!), actual survival horror puzzles finally paid off, haha.  (For real: I made Orez and everyone sit on Discord and watch classic REmake puzzles, plus, the idea to implement interactive 3D objects was inspired by that and Tormented Souls!)  

The stars lined up further - Orez happened to have bought a little scanner before the jam, showed us how it worked, and our team was sold on the idea :)

This game was very cool. I liked the note-taking aspect, as previously mentioned. This could be a real winner if it was polished up a good bit and sold, I think! My only real problem with it was the movement seemed overly fast at first, hard to be precise when moving that fast.

Thanks!   I'm really glad Orez brought the notetaking and "words as key-bits" mechanics to the table.  

The visuals left on the cutting board is an engaging sci-fi element skin, since the longer-term aesthetic was the Player was injected into a simulated reality - I wanted to incorporate a cool little card flip into projected LED datapad display, too.  

I'm definitely wanting to talk to the guys about polishing up more, at least!

I dare say this is a top contender! While exploration may not be terribly interesting, the inspection minigame (jank notwithstanding) with the note taking come together quite well to create an interesting experience!

Well done on your jam, team. You know what that means, though: you'll be held to a higher standard on your next jam!
