Nice entry! The mouse controls take away from the "gameboy feel" a bit, but aesthetically it's on point. I would've liked if there was a bit more difficulty to the combat; as it is you can just run around slashing everything without taking a single hit, but it's definitely a solid start.

Good game! The old man from Zelda deserves recognition :)

You could try bfxr.net for some simple sound effects. I also agree that using the mouse interfered with the gameboy feel a bit, but it wasn't a restriction anyway. Keep working on it!

This would have been really good had it had some sound and you-know an ending. I would love to see you continue working on it.

Graphics were well-made, but somehow one-shotting all the enemies felt kind of overpowered.

Visually the game boy vibe is here, but in the control scheme makes it hard to feel like you play a game boy game. This aspect aside, combat is enjoyable :)

Hah, the old man gets his fifteen minutes of fame. Now we only need the gibberish 'hints' he is famous for.

Ricocheting arrows off your sword is a quite fun interaction, although a bit overpowered. Slashing in the direction of the mouse cursor could feel better, since the camera doesn't keep the guy in the middle of the screen like a twin stick shooter. I liked it, the art and animations were also pretty nice.

Very nice game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)
