Carvings cost blood (which is your main resource) depending on the tier it rolled. The more blood you have on the end of the run the more exp you get for your skilltree. We are currently working on the scaling to make it more impactful.

Asgard's Fall is a 2D pixel-art auto shooter rogue-like game inspired by Norse mythology! In this game, you play as a mortal viking warrior seeking revenge on the gods, fighting your way through the nine worlds of Midgard to reach Asgard. Asgard's Fall is a mix between a rogue-like and RPG, featuring a persistent skill tree that heavily influences your character's progression.

The game is in very early development so this usertesting is focused on game feel, skills and item synergy.

Man, thank you so much for the massive feedback! This is a very old version of the game and I already fixed most of the problems you mentioned but there are things I will definitely work on based on your feedback! (Especially wall jumping and layer drawing).
