good concept, kinda okay execution

the no music in the background along with the scratch sound effects kinda kills it for me

and the lack of gameplay besides press 1 and then press space is a bit boring

i feel like it would've benefited from more lanes and more control over the position of the shots themselves

It's a good game with good symbolism, but it doesn't fit the theme and just isn't very fun.

i loved the part where my pc exploded trying to load the title screen

I do like the gameplay, but I was quite lost on what to do. 

I know making your own art is hard, but I don't think using pngs was the right call here.

Also, I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but the branded pens dialog reminds me of a scene from Murder Drones. ; ) 

It is a solid platformer, but it lacks content (levels) and mechanics. 

Solid arcade dodge game.

I do wish there could have been more unique gameplay mechanics, as it lacks in extra gameplay.

It's a fun little game, but I do wish the gameplay could be expanded upon more.

Maybe add an end goal? Like "Survive for X minutes" or "Eliminate X  Monsters"

Maybe have a punishment for not eliminating the monsters on time.

The idea has great promise to become a fully-fleshed out game. 

Solid concept!

The difficulty is quite hard, though 

i liked the level design and the gameplay mechanics, especially the controls and the scrolling

i do think more sfx and more unique graphics would've been a nice addition 

It's a good idea, but there's little to no gameplay.

Sure there's an index for fish, but all you do is go down.

It would be good to and sfx or music, or something like that.

Not really sure what this game was supposed to be. 

I don't really understand how this is a game, as I can only press space while dialog is flashing.
I understand you wanted to dive into more serious topics, but it doesn't relate to the theme, in any way.
I wish there could've been more options and like context rather than just "i want to hurt myself" but I understand exposition is hard 

I'm sorry if you dislike my opinion, but it all honesty, I don't consider this a game.
