Thailand Summer Jam is a 7-day online game jam event. With plenty of time to get creative, you don't need to rush or cut back on sleep. Or if you want to jump in during the last few days, that's cool too.

⛱️ Joining Instructions ⛱️

1. Join Jam on our itch.io
2. Join our Discord server: https://discord.gg/aRBb5sEPZ4
3. Post your team name and tag all members in Discord
4. Once the jam starts, get the theme and select at least 1 limitation from our list to make your game
5. Upload your game to itch.io and report your submission in Discord BEFORE the jam ends.

⛱️ Theme and Limitation ⛱️

This year's theme is Melt! 🫠

You will be required to follow the theme and select at least 1 limitation from our list. This is a special condition that your game must follow, but is open to interpretation. It will be announced when the jam starts.

⛱️ Rules ⛱️

• Do NOT submit premade games
• Do NOT submit already work in progress games before jam begins
• Your entry MUST follow the theme and at least one limitation 
• Do NOT make any NSFW or offensive/discriminatory games

⛱️ Rating ⛱️

At the end of the Jam, there will be a rating period that lasts 7 days. Games will be rated by:

• Gameplay
• Aesthetics
• Creativity

⛱️ FAQs ⛱️

Who can enter? 

This is an online game jam, so anyone, from anywhere can enter the jam. 

You can work alone or in teams. There is no limit on the number of people per team and people can be in multiple teams.

Only one person needs to join itch.io and submit the game. However, if others on the team also join itch.io, they can be tagged as contributors.

What games can I make?

The game you make can be of any genre. Just please no NSFW or discriminatory content.

What engine can I use?

You can make your game in whatever engine, programming language, or software you like. The game file needs to be uploaded to itch.io when you submit.
