This is a good game, but... It does not follow the guidelines of the 2024 jam. It does not fit onto a postcard. It does not have a greeting card either. It is not self contained, really, with the "grey tokens" that can be substituted with notes on paper. This is the main disadvantage of this submission... And maybe that it's not easy to solo it, as the play depends on actions that both sides take and their decisions what to do when. In the game, the conflict for Taiwan has to happen - regardless of the situation on the map by the time of end game. It is unavoidable. It fits the model (network of actions and counteractions) and the designers intention. Yet I remain hopeful that tensions around Taiwan can be resolved in other ways.
