Loved the mechanics, and a very fun little experience to tinker through! Well Done!

Omg, one of the most unique submissions in the jam. An incredibly solid and simple game to get into~! After the third, I wanted more levels and tools to play with. Good stuff!

This was relaxing and lots of fun to tinker with. I went full artisan on trying to make the perfect Godot head for that last guy :-)

This was really awesome! Such a simple idea, but cool in the way that every player is going to get a slightly different shaped head.

Submitted(+1)

Cool game! I don't know how you got the shaping to work properly, especially in the time frame of a game jam, so I gotta give you a good rating for that!

Very fun and enjoyable game! The graphics look nice and clean, the song is cool, and the gameplay was pretty fun! I like it a lot :D

Honestly, my favorite game yet.  It's nice to have a cozy game that was easy to finish.  Some jam games are just a bit too strenuous for me so this was a real nice palette cleanser.  I thought the shaping mechanic was really interesting.  Would you be willing to share how you got it working?  Nice job!

Submitted(+1)

Oh I see you explained the shaping mechanic in another comment!

Wonderful experience for a game jam game! I loved all the dialogues and the different robots. The mechanic is simple, but in combination with the music, dialogues and the details of moving the heads and keeping these for the end of the game makes the game feel super fulfilling. Congratulations! And great job!

this game has so much charm to it i really liked it :]

curious on how you made the hammer hitting though

Developer(+1)

thanks so much!!

yeah implementing the hammer was a little tricky - basically the robot heads are a textured Polygon2D (with the polygon points manually placed around the outline of the texture) and the hammer works by finding the closest point of that polygon and shifting that point towards the center of the polygon (as well as the adjacent points with an exponential falloff)! and then I used some of the intersect_polygon scripts from the Geometry2D class to calculate how well it matches the target polygon!

Submitted(+1)

ah okay, i assumed it had something to do with polygon2d but since i rarely use it i wasnt sure what

Lol I love the writing! I got a good chuckle from each character's personality. "I feel like a hundred bolts!" The concept here was really creative and executed perfectly.  There's so much charm to this little game! I was smiling ear to ear the entire time.  I'm glad the game wasn't too strict on matching the shapes too -- cus here is my handiwork :
