Theme: Cosmic Horror, Crop Circles and Aliens 

You're laying in bed after a long day. Drifting off to sleep for the good night's you've been craving, you hear something. Sounds like a howl, of what you're unsure of. "Not my problem" you utter to yourself. After some tossing and turning you finally get to sleep.

Will you have the same dream that has been tormenting your sleepless nights? Perhaps you'll be abruptly awoken by the violent vibrations of an otherworldly engine. Your reality being broken and warped in front of you.

Will you become the test subject of extraterrestrial horrors beyond understanding, faced with difficult decisions? These questions are burned into your mind and vision, compelling you to act. Compelling you to create the maddening visions that haunt you.

The Extraterrestrial Terror Jam will take place between March 18th and April 1st.

The Jam will begin March 18th at 9 AM CST and will remain open to submissions until April 1st at 1 PM CST.

Winners will be announced on April 8th.

1. Make a game from start to finish in the allotted time and submit it to this jam ONLY.

2. Refrain from starting work on your project until March 18th at 9 AM CST.

3. Do it with assets you have the proper rights to use.

4.  Your game must at least fit into the horror genre loosely.

5. While this is a horror themed game jam, we ask you to please not include inappropriate or overly explicit imagery in your submission.

6. If you have a team, you will be limited to no more than 4 members, and you MUST credit them on your game’s page.

7. Any assets not created within the jam MUST be credited on your game page with the link that you got it from.

8.  There will be a rating period after the jam closes where the public will be allowed to vote on your entry. (To ensure that votes are honest we reserve the right to change criteria in the event of botting.)

3 Winners will be selected from the top rated eligible jam entries.
