Great entry! I love the low-fi graphics, although the higher fidelity assets (furniture, statues etc) tend to stand out so they aren't exactly consistent. Being able to pick 3 characters is nice, although I think the ones with ranged seem to be at an advantage. The 4 trials are great with a good variety of puzzles, traps, combat etc.

Only real complaint other than the inconsistent graphics is one of the rooms I think a few tiles weren't able to be moved on, but minor for the most part.

"Is this the way out?"

I won with a mage, then won a second time with a warrior to see the difference and killed the minotaur this time and immediately won 3 levels, I like that it's beatable with a strong reward instead of invicible.

The game is super fun, it looks good enough overall although a few higher res elements clash a bit but more important it controls well, movement feels good and the 4 trials are all great and all different. Invisible enemies are always cool. The warrior and mage do play different enough in the context.

I think there's a rare case of a dead enemy leaving an unreachable tile, which the previous comment seems to confirm.

This is a great entry, thanks for sharing.

Great entry. Nice puzzles too! I done all, but blue... I am not sure about what to do with blue. I think its patroles around and you can hide, but not sure how to do it. Got key, but still couldn't find the door..

I encountered one strange bug, that looks like happened only to me, seeing other comments not mentioning it. In the red room I was unable to move forward. Killed enemies from the enterance, thinking it is how it should be. But only after restart saw that it is not! I was in that sneaky ghost one before and though that its a ghost infront of me, but nothing of sorts. Just like a wall that I was able to shoot through. I also had first enemy next to lion wall invisible for some reason once too...

Will try to get through blue... but feels like i am getting lost too much in there and getting stomped everytime...

We're glad you liked it! If you're getting stuck in the blue trial area, try "left wall strats": Make your way through by only turning left when the opportunity presents itself, eventually you're bound to make your way through the whole thing and find the door your key goes to. The map might also come in handy to show where you haven't been yet.
I'm also fairly certain we encountered that bug during development and thought we'd fixed it. We'll take a look at it again! Thanks for your lovely comment and feedback, best of luck behind the blue door! :]

That how I was doing it! Run into the guy several times and died ;< Left strat works, but not when there is a mad owner of the property in there too! :D

That bug only happened once btw. So I am not sure if it was because I went to ghosts prior or not... it was odd one.

Fantastic job! Good character variety, excellent puzzles, loved each trial and had to run the dungeon a few times to figure them all out. Spatial sound in the trial of fear was exceptional! All the stars, really loved this entry.

Thanks so much! We had a blast making it and are extra proud of how the trial of fear turned out.

Very well made!  It is uniquely challenging without seeming unfair.  That trial of fear was actually really nerve wracking!  Simple yet effective.

Oh myyyy they did an amazing job with this game!! the trial of bravery had me screaming with fear!!! I almost couldn't finish it! My heart was racing. Very well done. The different trials are interesting, engaging and unique. I died a few times lol. Absolutely loved it. and I have a huge crush on whoever voiced the wizard. omg!!!! hottie old man!

Such lovely graphics and sound. The different trials were a nice touch and were quite varied. Oh, and it even has a minimap. Very cool stuff.

Nice game. I liked the style and the puzzle parts were great. Nice short scope. Could have a slightly more fluent movement and queuing up a n input. But you can hold buttons to move which is great.

Great job!

Hey,

great game. Consistent old school art style and cool sound. The blue room stood out for me. Great design and use of sound. The different classes were fun to. It is very well polished. Only encountered one bug.

Great entry and good job guys. :)

What a great game. I had lots of fun exploring and swatting enemies. Great job on the graphics and particularly the sound.

I had a lot of fun figuring this one out. Think I died 3 or 4 times in the first 2 minutes to begin with, but it never felt unfair, I had always done something really stupid.

I really loved the variety in the rooms, all were implemented really well. The blue room genuinely scared the living daylights out of me the first time. I would have liked the yellow room to have reset after completion, but that's mostly me just being lazy and not wanting to retrace my steps.

The sound design is standout for me, it really adds to the effect hearing you-know-who stomping around. The grunts from the VA's are great too.

Thanks for this, had a blast.
