The 2024 ACS Game Jam is a vacation-long game making competition. 

It will be lots of fun, you will learn a lot and make friends, and ultimately you will get a lot of CAS.

The theme for the ACS Game Jam 2024 is...

Limitations Breed Creativity!

You may interpret the theme as you wish and here is a few examples:

You may make a clicker game without clicking (a severe limitation in terms of game design).

You may make a game with 8x8 pixel art or a limited colour pallet (limitation in terms of art).

You may make a game that is centered around physical boundaries, implementing the theme as a mechanic.

Or you may not follow the theme at all, though there would be some impact in voting.

The games will be rated both by peers and judges upon the following categories:

Fun: did players enjoy the experience?

Game Design: Were there any interesting mechanics, were they well implemented without bugs?

Art: Does the game feel nice to look at?

Music and Sound Effects: Do the game's sounds match the mood?

Theme: Does the game follow the theme and implement it in an interesting way?
