Packs not working?

Using stand alone, glasses and daily pack not showing up in creator. I put it in the pack folder?

Hello,

Just tested it, and it's working fine on our end. Unfortunately we can't replicate the issue.

I'm sure you already did this, but just to make sure, this is how to install packs.

Manual Install:

Download the add-on pack (make sure to download the correct version, in this case, Standalone Pack)
Extract/Unzip the pack
Put the unzipped file (it should have .pack extension) into the "Packs" folder under your main CC2D installation folder

Using itch.io Desktop App:

Go to your library
Find the add-on pack thumbnail
Right click the thumbnail and click install
In the install window, choose Standalone Pack
For install location, browse for "Packs" folder under your main CC2D installation.
Click Install

Can you try installing them again?

Unfortunately I am having the same problem. I did my best to follow you instructions, but I am unable to add the daily pack, and tried re-downloading (stand alone) multiple times. Do I have to open it with a specific tool? I just don't see what I am doing wrong.

Hi there,

you don't need any specific tool, just unzip the pack, then put it into the packs folder.

Can you screenshot where you installed the pack right now?

When I downloaded the daily pack, this was the only thing inside the unzipped file.

yes that should be the only file you need for the pack to works.

I noticed that you have two folders called Character Creator 2D. just making sure, but in your case, the base tool is installed in the second folder, correct?

So what happen when you open the base CC2D? The daily pack just doesn't show?

Yes all the tools are in the second folder. These are the steps I used. It doesn't show up.

1. Open application

2. Go to menu

3. Click on open

4. Files appear and I go to packs.

you don't need to open anything,

Once the pack file is in the correct folder, the pack should be activated automatically.

Can you try opening the armor menu, and see if the daily parts are there?

Also, make sure you're running the latest version of CC2D. Currently it's version 1.73.

It's working now. I didn't realize it was put in automatically. Thank you for your help.
